Jake, really? I was thinking the opposite. Not homeless, just he didn't look good in that green jacket initially, just washed out with the white hair (yikes, it's actually white now) and scruffiness. He was such an attractive vibrant, youthful looking guy when he was younger, it was a little shocking to see him looking aged. Ah well.

@@bellas.9253 I think half the bad part of his aged look is the scruffiness. He'd probably scrub up pretty well if he shaved and got in a fitted suit. But he probably doesn't want to give the impression he might be making a comeback, and in my opinion he's earned the right to chill out of the spotlight if that's what he wants.

2can The Man He held Fox News to account in a way Trevor Noah doesn’t. He would have been better at getting the message across that electing Trump would not be a good idea. Trump couldn’t get away with calling him “Fake news”, and those on the left so upset at Bernie losing to Hillary would have realised that, for all her flaws, Hillary would have been a better person in the White House, so those on the left wouldn’t have abstained or voted for Jill Stein.

I remember that, too, it was in my formative years politically, watching Colbert and Daily Show back to back every night. Here in Aus that meant pirating torrents of it after it aired. I'd have half of my media hard drive filled with Colbert/Daily Show episodes. There was a brief moment here in Aus where we could watch both shows streamed on Comedy Central in the US, but that got pulled pretty quickly by a cable channel here in Aus who paid for a monopoly to air both shows.

I'm not sure what he personally wants to do with his life at this point, but I really believe Jon Stewart needs to get a public platform again where he can speak his mind about current issues on a more consistent basis. I love when he has appeared on The Late Show as well as a few other TV cameos in the last couple years, but the appearances are few and far between. Our society needs his voice, especially right now. He left a void leaving The Daily Show in 2015 that hasn't been filled, and I think it partially has to do with that fact that he was well respected by leaders on the right, including Bill O'Reilly and John McCain. Jon Stewart would have them on his show and there was civility and a mutual respect. I know countless conservatives personally who disagree with him on most issues, but they still respect him on a personal level. He has a way of speaking about issues so simply, eloquently, and sincerely that your average blue-collar conservative can understand what he is saying and respect his point of view. We need you Jon.

Did you also notice that that is exactly how Jon Stewert CHOSE to play his career? Nice try twicker and he still owns you. Guys like you think that you have talent, intelligence AND delivery but actually you are simply lame , envious and limited. Not everyone WANTS to be kanye kardashian. IN fact the bloated egos of the rich and famous vomitting their high priced trash and personality disorders all over society and you sit there with a straw sucking it up is exactly what Stewert wants to avoid. Obviously that was lost on you a couple of years ago. Try to catch up.

The two of them are delightful together; Stephen blushing annoyedly, Jon breaking out in laughter. They enjoy each others company a great deal, that's pretty obvious. However, the way Stephen fidget in his chair seems to confirm a suspicion I've had for quite a time: that those guest chairs are mighty awkward to sit in.

Yikes. Are you really a Jon Stewart fan? He attacked the left just as equally, if you watched his show. He attacks whatever is BS at the time and doesn't focus on left or right wing, only what's relevant. Are you going to contribute anything to the issue other than hateful internet comments? Probably not. Step it up. By the way, while Trump may not be so good in front of a camera (he isn't a lifelong politician, so makes sense) his foreign trade policy is so exceptionally good that European countries are copying it. Do not read American media if you want a truly unbiased report. It is sensationalized crap being used to generate advertisement revenue and you fall for it.
