Yes Hiroyuki and and also Ken Watanabe were magnificent. Whenever that movie is on tv I wil always watch it even if it’s half way through or near the end. They were both magnificent and deserved so much recognition. So excited to see what they do for Shogun 2 & 3. It was such a perfect show? it will be weird not having Yabushige and Mariko in it though.

Hiroyuki Sanada is better than Tom Cruise: - His career is much more longer - He has acted in Shakespeare's plays (both in Japanese and English) - He used to be a singer during the 80's and 90's (His songs are great!) - He knows different martial arts He is a true artist! (No one can be compared to him!)

I thought it would win Best Picture, Best Design, Best Sound, etc., but I honestly didn't think it would win so many awards, such as Best Actor and Best Actress, so I thought it was really amazing. Until now, English has been the main focus, and the focus has not been on the background of other countries, but this film has a high level of quality that even Japanese people can agree on, and it is a work that is created with respect for everything, including Japanese history, Japanese actors, buildings, the quality of the costumes, the Japanese language, the appropriate sound, and the scenery shown. From the opening video and music to the Japanese sand garden, the Hollywood video capture, music selection, and incorporation are mixed well, drawing you into the story. I feel that this achievement is possible only because of the excellent collaboration between Sanada-san, the executive producers, the Japanese cast and producers, and the Hollywood producers and cast, and I am truly grateful for the opportunity to spread Japan and Japanese entertainment to the world!!! Also, it's riding on the global trend of inclusion, so I think people all over the world are watching and supporting it. Furthermore, I'm happy that the entertainment world in Hollywood, which is starting to recognize this, has a bright future ahead of it! On the other hand, I think that countries and worlds that are still exclusive and disrespectful will not be able to achieve development, and will only have a future of defeat in everything. Lastly, I can't wait to see season 2 lol

Asian women have so much soft and feminine beauty and elegance
Many American's have a hard time not to see the rest of the world through a narrow American point of view. Recently, there is a cultural colonialism occurring especially from the far left. So, even racial politics, ideology, etc is imposed on places that had nothing to do with the Transatlantic Slave Trade, for example. Even that is distorted for a particular narrative. Even the idea that representation of Japanese is a big deal to Japanese when they have their own rich media, their own rich art forms. Japan doesn't need America for validation as Anna Sawai had to correct herself. I'm sure winning all the Emmys is nice, and the show and actors deserved every single one. I just find the constant need to make false comparison out of the need to connect everything to America is very tiresome to say the least. It already stated with people stating that "Shogun" is the Japanese Game of Thrones."
