I'm so glad Nikke has implemented this feature from other idle games, I love it! It allows us to test or fully max any character as soon as we get them, no need to start farming mat and exp, just keep 5 units maxed out, and the rest will automatically follow suit! :D

Level linking level binding level merging yes... One of the main aspects of idle games but yeah gotta see how the scaling goes hopefully you do a video on that too eventually showcasing the scale diff gap between just a synchronized character vs. actual leveled character through materials and limit breaking.

If I'm not mistaken the act of limit break gives some extra stats so synced lvl 140 will be weaker than lvl 140 after level break but it's still good if you can't get the dupes.

Valor Legends taught me about this in 2020. And since then, Among Gods, Memento Mori, and Darkness and Divinity are all games I've played that also did it. Seems to be becoming a gacha standard at this point.

I'm not sure if it's still the case, but during cbt 2 doing this was great but didn't give the synced units the same stats as actually being the same level. Just a warning for later progression. Syncing my Sugar to 120 didn't have the same stats as actually having her level at 120.

very good guide ^^, so technically you just need 5 character lv 200, and it is do able because when you dup blue and purple you get point to trade for a list of 9 ssr currently, and if you pull 5 of those 9 and farm point slowly you eventually get 5 character ssr lv 200, and from then on all other ssr do not need dup ever.

In most gacha (with rare exceptions like Arknights) low tier units become quickly obsolete and the player tries to stuff their team only with highest rarity units, leaving the lower ones in dust. Was there some type of content in the versions of the game you`ve played so far where those low tier units could be used ? Be it some sort of afk resource gathering, or specific maps limiting which units you can use etc ?

Funny enough I played figure fantasy and yes the system will alleviate a bit of wall issue but next wall is about getting actual specific unit to get past some stages since they have meta units and are strategy + formation + skill based to counter enemies. And then limited characters being super hard for f2p to get, hopefully no "top guild" shenanigans here, I wish its not "get good or get bored" kinda deal with idle games here in Nikke.

There is a synchro slot so if the base game gives 5 free slot it can follow your top 5 highest character for the said synchro slots.. When you see the video there is 5 free slot so you can have 5 at a time

Yeah so just like figure fantasy where if you really wanna progress and you are not lucky enough or do not have enough pulls and dupes for the SS characters. The SR are enough to get you thru most of the early to mid game until you can use and have enough dupes to use the SS characters.

I was waiting for the game for a while, but haven't watched any game-related content untill last days (except those sreenshots that were at taptap pre-reg page). And I feel really sad because of nikke is basically an idle-game, most shitty type of games (usually it's even hard to call a game, lol) based on what I've seen. This level cap thing is bullsh.t. Every other game allows you to bring the lower rarity characters to the same max level as the “shiny” chars. This way even the “blue” and “Purple” characters get used in the late game content. The ga cha system implementation seems like the worst thing about this game so far.
