Ren's KZbin CHANNEL copyright struck the video, not a label. Not all strikes are from record labels. I would've included the entire video otherwise. For everyone telling me I didn't get a strike, I did when I uploaded a version with an uncut video, the audio was picked up by his channel. It's an automated thing, it's not Ren personally doing it. And before you comment it's a trilogy, someone has commented this already - but I was moved by this as a stand alone piece regardless.

Yes youtube puts an id on each video prevents other people from putting in their channels and monetizing it. Other reactors find a way I think, they dispute it and the owner can accept the dispute or something. But anyway this was a great reaction.

He doesn't have a label but he uses one of these distributors indie artists use to publish their music to multiple platforms, otherwise it would be too much for a single person to deal with I guess.

Usually you can get around it, but it was picking up the audio not the video, and I didn't want to edit his audio or mess with the speed to get around the copyright. To get around video claims, you just zoom in or make it a small box.

Thanks for introducing me to Ren, Justin! Incredible. I want to hip you and all to a recent singer songwriter that tragically lost his mental health battle in 2019. Zack Rosen was his name. He was my bassist, but for a while I was unaware that he wrote songs. I'll never forget hearing the demos he shared with me for the first time, realizing he was an actual genius. Zack asked me to produce his debut album, which we were in the middle of making when he took his own life after a years-long battle with schizophrenia. It unfortunately had to be finished posthumously and comes out next month, 3/24/23, on Sean Lennon's label Chimera Music.

Since you featured Ren I have been checking out his music. The busking with The Big Push is fantastic… they are all such talented young musicians … if you’re not into the “rap” stuff check out wade in the water and hear what brilliant singer Ren is. Well, I normally find myself going down musician/artist rabbit holes after watching Justin but this one is a bit different for me as I knew of Ren so many years ago when he was ill and sharing videos from his bed when he was ill. I think he was diagnosed with CFS/M.E back then (which is what I have) before diagnosed with Lyme's disease. It's so good to see what he has gone on to do, but boy is his music raw/emotional. I am sure everything that he has gone through with his health has impacted his music writing, it's just so raw and emotional for me. Thank you Justin for sharing Ren's music and bringing him back to my attention. He is phenomenal.

Well I'll thank you again Justin for introducing me to Ren a couple of weeks ago and safe to say it's been one of the best things I've ever experienced as a musician. I've checked out much of his stuff and I simply feel we are in the presence of greatness. I really mean that. I found Ren last year with Screech's tale. Ren is currently battling some difficult and expensive health issues, I think you giving him a platform will really help him, and he has a lot of content (like the previous 2 episodes in this trilogy) for you to cover.

I watched this one immediately after watching Hi Ren that I discovered via this channel. If you get chance though watch it as the trilogy as others have already mentioned. It's somehow even bleaker and more impressive. This guy is exceptionally talented and if there's any justice in the world everyone would be listening to him.
