I’m sorry, but airlines all need to get together and pick a pregnancy level across the board. As it stands you could very easily be allowed to travel on airline A, and base your return flight on that same rule, but not be able to return as airline B bans you.

We need to introduce legislation stating that if you’re illegal in the first place, your CHILD IS NOT LEGAL EITHER. it’s such an easy thing to fix. Illegal means BREAKING the law and just because you’re pregnant and deliver it in a country it does t mean the kid has citizenship. It should have citizenship of where the parent came from. Period. It should be law.

In the USA, the 14th Amendment to the Constitution was passed to grant citizenship to freed slaves. It’s worded in such a way that immediately grants citizenship to babies born in the country.

I worked with a woman who did just this. They were from an African country and I can’t remember the name but every baby that was in their family was born in the USA. Standard asylum application information is what the guy from Lagos gave… Since he immediately indicated that he ‘has problems in his country’, which must been seen as an asylum claim, he became a LEGAL asylum seeker at the border. He then goes into the normal asylum process and no, asylum seekers are NOT detained! And if he can’t prove his application should be granted, he will be sent back. And if he stays illegally after his asylum is denied, he will have no rights to ANY assistance. Learn the law! You may not like that law, but it is made in a democratic society. People can always vote differently in the next election, choosing a different political party that has different views on immigration and want to change those laws. That’s how it works. By what he says in this video, his application will not be granted. Easy case. (He might have a whole different story off camera of course). He can be sent back very fast! Of course he knows that already, that’s why he took off…. It’s all known before departure from their own country, including many nam s of actual immigration officers in the country they are going to!! (Including mine, yes, even though I have retired a couple of years ago) But….in time they VERY often will come back to the immigration office for another try… But THEN they WILL be detained, because they took off the first time!
