I was running this with an AMD Athlon 860k and Nvidia GTX 760 when I had VU cycle stealing set to 2 and when 3+ cores were enabled. It ran at 59 FPS with no overclock.

Hey, this isn't 60- oh. 5:59 it hits 60fps for one second, then goes to 30 again. If anyone's wondering, the only way to get this game properly running at 60fps is by massively overclocking the Emotion Engine in PCSX2's settings, which makes it impossible to run on most (if not all) current CPUs! The counter at the top of the PCSX2 window only reports whether the emulated PS2 is outputting 60Hz (i.e., full speed for NTSC) video, not how many frames are actually being rendered.

Love this emulator running Ps2 games at full speed 60fps My settings 8x native internal resolution with shaders and fxaa everything else is on default. Here's my system specs if anyone is wondering Intel Core i7-6700K @ 4.7ghz, MSI Z170A motherboard, GTX 1080 gpu and 32gb of ram.

I have FXAA enable. My interlace option is on auto, Sometime I have to mess with the HW hack setting for some games to get them playable. I also use Open GL. for all my plugins.

Could you do an updated setup guide for this game on pcsx2 1.4.0? i have a i5 6500 3.2 ghz 8GB 2133mhz gtx 970 However i keep dropping below 30fps at some areas. I know that i should get a CPU with 4ghz+ and have single threading performance at 2000 or more(working on it), but is there anything i can do to increase performance with my current setup? I have been playing around with the emulation settings, and found guides on the internet, however none of those have a guide for the 1.4.0 version, and as a newcomer to this emulation world I find it a little confusing. I am going to upgrade to an I5 6600k and overclock it to around 4 GHz, is there any other CPU you would recommend before I buy this one?

HOW do you get stable 60fps?? I can only reach OR 15-20fps, which is 100% fullspeed with fps limit ON (it is how it worked on PS2, I supose), OR 200fps or more with fps limit OFF, in that case everything speeds up realy bad, the caracter is fast as hell, bosses - unkillable, I just cant jump on them cause the speed of the game is too fast. Please, PLEASE, advice. Thank you.

No full speed under PCSX2 is only 60 FPS, if you get lower you will get slowdowns...if you get that kind of speeds with fps limit off it leads me to believe that you messed something in the fps settings of PCSX2, the frame limiter or some kinda vsync. Also retry without speed hacks

Sorry, but built-in benchmark tells me that the game runs in 60fps (upper left corner of the window), but in fact there is only 15-20. However, I've tried A LOT of different settings and I finally found good ones, the game works ok. But still, no matter what settings I use, there is one location, in which game slows down - it is the very start location, when you look at the columns from outside the building. But again the game is playable, thank you for advices.

This is no doubt going to come off as a stupid question (as I've literally just started this game + emu 30 minutes ago), but how do I get it to look this good? Surely it's not just the settings listed in the description. Are there some other assets/mod that needs to be downloaded? Is there a settings file that will set all of this for you? Cheers.

That Vita homebrew is only for PSP emulation thingy. It's not piracy how you want it. And they don't support piracy. Also Vita still has some life into it compared to PS2 that no one buys games for it anymore. So emulator so soon for this isn't good.

Sweet, I got it working, and on 1.2.1 to boot. ^_^ Going on the forum, I found the configuration guide. I think for some reason, GSDx was trying to use my intel chip's graphics, instead of my dedicated NVidia card XD Changing those settings fixed all the video bugs I was experiencing.

martin i dont think your cpu can handle this game sorry i think you'll need to over clock it to at least 4ghz. i have i7 4790k currently, i just bought a i5 8600k 8th gen OMG I CANT WAIT TO TRY IT its crazy that i5 im getting is stronger then my i7 4790k in singlethread and multithread thats nuts the new i5 is better then the old i7s and the new i3s is better then the old i5s also the new i5 have 6CORES AND 6 THREADS

Soy entuciasta de los videojuegos, primero perteneci a las consolas, ahora me pasé a las pc y laptops... tengo de mesa y laptop, actualmente la que uso es una APU A8 6410 + R5 integrada, 8Gb ram 1600Mhz L con 1Tb Disco Duro a 5400Rpm OS 8.1 Pro.... con el emu no he intentado correr el juego, encontre uno con instalador compilado en base a el emulador pcsx2 creo que la cersion 1.0... pero me va fatal... creo que me serviría una guía de como configurar el emulador.. por ahora se que me tocará con DX10 software pq trabaja mejor con la integrada.... pero de ahí no se que más. Gracias.

David Jaramillo la configuración exacta está en la descripción. es recomendable usar la pc de mesa con la misma tarjeta de vídeo que nuevamente dice en la descripción . la tarjeta es una Gigabyte Geforce GTX660 Windforce OC 2 GB para verlo en full HD

Vic Plaza Huh....that's unusual! I'm guessing that you're running on really high settings or something because that should be able to run it on at least decent settings.
