In November 2014 I stood with my 17 year old son and watched LP play this song live. 3 months later he was diagnosed with leukaemia, and 8 months after that he died in my arms aged 18. I had this song played at his funeral. Sometimes goodbye's the only way. Miss you son. Miss you Chester.

I remember when I heard the song Crawling on the radio for the first time and I was hooked. Linkin Park was my favorite from that moment on and I still listen to many of his songs daily. I was crushed when he passed but his music still gets me through some tough times. Especially the live version of Crawling/ one last light and it still brings tears to my eyes when I listen to it but it gets me through when I'm feeling like my own walls are closing in and I struggle to find myself again. I don't think I'll ever stop listening to his music, just wish he would've stayed with us and made more music

I heard this guy throughout the most difficult time in my life. I can't help to feel so ungrateful, he literally made me wake up every single moment I was weak, and after everything passed I stopped listening him. I really hope the best to his soul , his voice full of anger, compassion and forgiveness was a desperate attempt to encourage people to be alive. I truly beg people don't get his death wrong and take risky decisions with it, he might not be here now but his music is going to remain in ourselves, and in that way he is going to be always alive. I lost my dad at the age of five, and that's when my Uncle stepped in. We bonded over music and coming from a religious family is frowned upon to like bands like Linkin Park. But they were the first band I ever heard, and became my favorite band. My Uncle and I bonded over music and when I informed him my favorite band was Linkin Park we'd always listen to them together and he talked about taking me to a show one day. Sadly my Uncle passed away.. this song and many others helped me cope with it. And I continued loving them. It's so sad that Chester is gone and I can only imagine the pain he must have been feeling. But your voice and your band helped people Chester and I hope you have found peace. Rest Easy. You will be missed.

I literally have memories and "feels" to every song. Not as many to their 2010 album, my life was chaos during that time and was just trying to hold it together. (I made it!) Ive been to quite a few of their concerts, been to meet & greets. I'm still in shock. His band mates, I just want to hug them and his family. I had been so lost from his death to that day, and this gave me so much clarity in my own way. We can't seek revenge on invisible enemies. Cruel and inhumane...yes I am in terminal cancer pain with no narcotic pain killers thanks to good ole DEA/CDC..but hospice is awaiting my oncologist to arrive on Aug 7th so he can take them from Hospice home health to pallative to release their doc to give unlimited to make me at least somewhat comfortable! Sorry I could go on and on about our fucked up government...but yes I am alone..the good thing is my ex and I, he is love of my life we have been talking and friends a while he on work realease, my bro in prison but we are close and few friends but they live a distant away..but I'm thankful for what I have..thank you so much
