Chester, you and LP saved my life 14 years ago. I had lost my pregnant girlfriend due to a jealous ex of hers and I gave up so much. I suffered daily at the thought of living. But all I needed to do was listen to Linkin Park and I found a reason to suffer another day. I attempted suicide so much because it hurt so damn bad to wake up. I suffered for 6 years. Before I finally started working past the loss. Before I started working on actually living again. Today? I am happily married to a wonderful woman. With a 5 (Almost 6) year old son. And an almost 8 month old daughter. I use the experience from 14 years ago to help others. To relate to people and feel their pain, to relate... I saw you guys live in 2012 and it was the absolute GREATEST concert I have ever seen... We miss you... You changed lives, you battled the very demon that claimed you for others... Chester, you and Linkin Park are and forever will be heroes to many of us. To millions of us who have felt the same way that you did. That felt the same way I did. Thank you... For everything Linkin Park... Thank you for everything, Chester Bennington.

Hello, to anyone who may see this comment. As so many others have and are looking here now. Please know I feel your agony. I am here to never forget the 'Deepest Soul' of the Unforgettable Chester Bennington. And also to remember my Beloved Cousin who took his life two years ago. The pain I have is so very deep. And the loss is as if it all just happened yesterday. But very recently a very Kind, Compassionate and very Thoughtful Man that I've never even met posted his very Beautiful Photos of a Sublime Sunset Sky with this sad song. And I was so intensely moved and very touched by his kindness and thoughtfulness behind it. I cried for hours and hours. And I replayed this video over and over again and again. He had no idea how much he helped me that night. But I hope he knows now after my message to him to let him know how Kindly 'Compassionate' that was. As Chester was to so many all over the World. So, I will never ever forget my Beloved Cousin, The Ever Incomparable Chester with his Deep and Tortured Soul. And also the Very Warm Hearted and Kindest Man who helped me navigate my deepest pain I've struggled with. Thank you for your help in guiding me to this 'Sad and very Powerful' song. I love You with All of Heart!! And I will always keep my forever 'Cherished Memories' alive listening to this song over and over again and again. My Thoughts & Prayers to anyone whose suffering. You're not alone in your pain. Others are with you. With Love, Nicole

I miss Chester every fucking day of my life since 3 years, and I'm gonna miss him for the rest of my life. If you find my comment, if you're here to rewatch their mv, I think that, you're in the same case. I'm just listening to all the song, watching all the mv, and, I was thinking about all the people who are doing this, so here I am Linkin Park brought me so much things, they learned me how to live more than anywhere else, and I'm so thankful for this. They were with me in every moment, in the worst and the best. Like a lot of people, I'm mentally sick, and I wanted to end my life so much time, too much. But, like a good star, and in not even knowing, they gave me the strength to stay alive, and enjoy what I have to enjoy. Now I can say it so loud, Linkin Park saved my life. When Chester left us, I just.. never felt so guilty in my whole life, I thought like some people: "Chester give everything for us, and we didn't save him" . Now, he is the brightest star on the dark nights, and we know it, he's looking at us, proud of what we are. And.. just a special line for Mike, who's actually and for a long time, my model. I find this man just.. so strong, and inspiring. He lost two of his friends, he had so much bad time, but, he stayed with us, making some prevention, and continued to give us the hope and the love that we need. I will never be able to thanks him as he deserves. But.. whatever, Thank you, Mike, thank you for never give up with us, you're such an inspiration. And for you, who's reading this. You're here maybe for his 3rd anniversary, or just cause you miss Linkin Park. The chance bring you here, and I'm glad if you read my comment. You're amazing, all your imperfections made the person you are, and be proud of this. If you're having a bad time, If you're feeling down in any way, just know than you're not alone, and you'll never be. Don't think than no one cares about you, because I do. You're a soldier, so Linkin Park are proud of you. You are loved, By all this amazing fandom. If you need to talk for a reason, even for not, because of a bad time or anything else, you can come and talk to me. Maybe you find it stupid (I'm doubting too.) But.. just let's help each other in this particular time, and this bad day. I let my Twitter here : lp_leyladwt My dms are open. Thank you for reading all, it's touching me. Chester, I love you so much, and I miss you so hard. Lp, thank you for all you did for us, and the person you made me become. And you, I love you too, I don't know you but if you're listening to this, I trust you. 🖤🖤🖤

One of my brother's favorite bands was Linkin Park. We lost him to cancer a few months back but I still can't listen to this song without crying. Since he was terminally ill he had time to plan out his funeral, and he requested this as one of the songs to be played. To me this song has so much emotional impact that serves as a reminder of the legacy of not only my brother but Chester as well. R.I.P. 🕊

LP was there in my late teens and during my struggles in my twenties, so many hours listening, feeling the lyrics, feeling the pain but also and outlet for anger and emotions… Now… in 2024, I’m 42, my daughter is 13… and now she is the one struggling, anxiety, adhd disorder amongst other stuff… now, once more, I’m listening to LP and Chesters pain, praying for my life, that my daughter not will be “another light” some day…😢

After almost 5 years it still hurts, please tell me I‘m not the only one who can‘t listen to One More Light w-out shedding tears? Linkin Park and especially Chester were my rock, the only ones understanding me and being there w-out even knowing I exist. He‘s right, these wounds will never heal. He‘s the damn voice of a nation and will never be forgotten like he asked us in Leave out all the Rest♡ R.I.P Chester

Everytime i listen to this gem of a song i can't help but to get teary eyed. Being a fan of Linkin Park since i was in middle school, and now being 25, Chesters' passing really did hurt. He sang about his pain, his sadness in many of his songs but listening to them now it has a whole new meaning to them, despite understanding and knowing of his struggles (Depression) and having to deal with it myself, and it's still a battle i struggle with. Songs like Iridescent really did save me in my teenage years. Chester you were not weak, you were hurting, the battle got to overwhelming and you made the choice to lessen the pain, but thank you for not only helping me, but literally millions of others in the world who too suffer from Mental Health issues. You're a legend, you always will be. Your songs, their meanings - the depth, the message, it will never be forgotten, nor will you. Your impact on many people's lives will remain solidified within our hearts. Thank You once again Chester, Linkin Park. I hope you found your light, your glimmer, you deserve it all.

I'm 26. I remember the very first Linkin Park song when I was in elementary school was In The End on MTV at my babysitters house. Haven't stopped listening to this day. They were the rock of my adolescence days. More than any other musicians. Saw them in concert my freshman year of highschool. I'm so upset. Chester Bennington was the Kurt Cobain of our generation IMO.
