Listening to this again, there are things about this I’d really like to remake and reword… i didn’t watch it before posting. I just shared as it came up. I see some issues here. Crazy how quickly understanding can develop. I hope it’s still helpful.

Thanks bro, real real value. When you talk about loving ‘triggers’ beyond your capacity, and the shadow over compensating in return, is that like a reflection of dishonesty, false projections? you lie to your shadow so it lies back?

@@reedpearce2442 Loving what is not yet integrated is the entire work. If we expect ourselves to be able to love more than we’re ready, we’re overstretching ourselves, not loving ourselves. Expectations are not love. What is the solution? Love. Letting all that be as it is, because it already is. We don’t get what you want - we get what we are. And the world reflects this truth back at us, and it feels like “others” are doing it, or “events” are causing it, but that’s only because our conscious mind doesn’t want to recognise those things as part of Self. So the shadow doesn’t lie back. We lie to ourselves, and the shadow shows us the truth of this, until we integrate it and it’s no longer shadow.
