Just a quick tip, you can actually macro Boomerang Stab with flip of the coin, and also put meso explosion on a sticky key. It makes it even easier to grind with since you can hold down the sticky key forever.

Chadower for the style points, and its the much more mobile of the two.

@@MrDavekee Really just comes down to preference. Boomerang stab is a very strong mobbing skill base damage wise, so it's not too hard to kill mobs unfunded, and Dual Blades V skills are insane damage unfunded, just they are on CDs. Thats the only real difference. Other than that, it comes down to preference in playstyle really.

Finally, I saw how you have your keyboard layout for your class on screen and not just the hotkeys which can be kind of hard to see in a video. I'm going to have to go screenshot it later and make my keyboard layout similar given mine is probably not optimized like it needs to be. While generally considered very simple information, this will be helpful for me to try actually playing Shadower again given I couldn't figure out how to do so without my hands just getting way too tired to play Maplestory as I got bored. Also, while I'm a very casual noob, how many Nodestones do you typically need to be able to max out all of your skills? I am still trying to figure out a lot of things while just trying to get my Legion rank up.

Depends on the amount of boost nodes the class needs. Between 900 - 1.5k to max all boost nodes and get all your skills to level 10 + DHS to max.

Does speed infusion do anything to shadowers without the green pot?

Nope, for most classes DSI is only used when popping green pots. I just get into the habit of using it, even if it does nothing. So that If I ever do main the class, I'm already used to having it keyed on my hotkeys. As well it shows people glancing at the guide that Shadower does need it, to his AS Cap. Can be a bit mislead visually, but it helps me in the long run.

Sacrix, what you think is the best and easiest/ simplest class to level 200 - 250? And which one is best overall? Looking for a class to level for the Ignition burning event. I enjoy most classes that are simple and not overly complex or rotating through several keys and having to keep track of certain timings etc. Kinda like, what classes has the largest AOE leveling spam skill i guess? lol

Best class to hyper burn is either your main or a bossing mule. If you're just burning a character for legion Shade, Jett, Hayato, and Mercedes are the highest value picks. With all but merc being pretty easy.

@@Sacrix my main is already 250. N yeah ill be doing a bossing mule. But at 250, for me it is less about their bossing ability and the slog to get to 250. I am a super lazy leveler. I love minimal effort and watching netflix or something on the side :D

NL and Shadower take pretty much the same funding. Pick whichever you enjoy playing most. They're explorers, so you can always job change at will.

How do you get boost nodes past level 5?

You need other tri-nodes that share the same first slot skill. So a trio of Boomerang/Assassinate/Meso bomb, needs other trios starting in Boomerang to fuse into it for exp to level the node.

Hey Sacrix, Do you remember what your EXP rates were per hour for lvl 240+ shadower? I'm currently a lvl 240 DB and getting about 15%/hour on fz, cash 2xp coupon, 2x buff, exp potion, gold potion, DSE. I wonder how well my rates will improve if i switch to shadower? Thanks.

Hi can i ask a shadower qn? I'm making one as a submain and I get locked in sonic blows animation and die. e.g. von bon ball. is there a trick I'm missing?

You have to time Sonic Blow for a safe window. There is no invincibility to the skill, and you are locked in place for its animations, so you have to use it wisely. Or you can use Trickblades teleport i-frame into Sonic Blow to have most of the animation safely in an i-frame window.

How much of a difference do you think Lucid soul makes on your rates (assuming 2-3 shotting)? Personally deliberating whether to reroll by Boss% soul for a normal Lucid one for training purposes, but I feel it's only really worth doing if the rate increase is meaningful. Too broke to consider making an entirely new training one :P

You can macro them together if you're ok with the minor delay. Otherwise, just make sure they're in comfortable key places for you. You shouldn't be spamming anywhere near as much as thunder breaker.

From the explorer mages and thieves(besides NL), which one would you suggest most to tera burn if im thinking of using it as a bossing mule? I currently havent made any of them yet so trying to consider which may be slow lvl but good as a weekly bosser for this event

Fire/Poison or Dual Blade would probably be the best two for bossing mules. Low CDs, high damage, good survivability. I'd say of those, DB is the easier option, much safer, harder to die with lots of low CD i-frames. F/p is the stronger pick though with less funding. Since your burst is on like, 20-30s CDs, you just dump damage, at the cost of bad teleport range, and only Etherial to save you.

@@DemiseGMS Training pre-200 theyre both honestly subpar. DB is rough until you get blade fury, as it's the only decent mobbing skill they have pre-5th job, and Flame Haze is not the greatest in terms of reach for F/p. Both do get a lot better as soon as you get 5th job for mobbing. F/p getting 3 low CD FMAs essentially, and DB getting 2.

Just start as a Kanna in reg server, Kappa Really though, if you're not having fun with Reboot, definitely give Reg servers a try. It's rough to get through the early game, much harder than in Reboot, but it's a much more 'complete' experience for Maple imo.

Until Shadower got Line-Storied, they capped out way to early for bossing. Now they scale more smoothly into the end-game.

Putting BS and flip a coin on a marco, makes so you don't need a seperate keyy for flip a coin :) It works for me at least :)
