I’m a firm believer that when you’re starting out you buy loads of cheap stuff then as they die off replace with higher quality. Plus it means you’re not spending a fortune on something you rarely use.

I started with cheap screwdrivers. Sadly, it took me a few years to realise I saw spending money on cheap tools. I've started replacing cheap tools with much better quality ones as the cheap ones die. As you said. Good way to see what you actually use compared with what you buy THINKING you need.

Seen those 6 in 1 screwdrivers before, I had a job where we were installing routers in telephone boxes and the router was supplied with one of those, its the most useful screwdriver I've ever had, I stashed a box full and I've slowly used them over the 15 years or so. Ran out last year but managed to find identical ones (just a different colour) on one of the chinese web sites, order a bunch while they were still available. Stanley stuff has always been good to me, its basic but reliable. Good find on the Makita drill, used Makita for years and the only issue I ever had was batteries wearing out because I used them too much. All in all a good haull and good call using your local small suppliers, always a few good bargains to be had in the smaller places.

Thanks I really enjoyed that 👍 like you said at the end. A car boot sale is a good place for bargains. I'd recommend finding a local big car boot sale. There should be more going on in the summer. And you need to get there early. Very early to get the best things.

You know what, that idea to go cash generators was brilliant. I recently had to buy a combi drill and was looking on FB marketplace, could hardly find any decent one so I settled and bought new from B&Q. Next time ill have a look in there first. Thanks mate!

Makita combi was an absolute steal, a little annoying about the charger but for that price you can’t complain, good job!

I love the way you make everything fit. You are the Tetris King. My wife can fit all the pots and pans etc in the cupboards. She is the Terris Queen. I know about the man draw. I found about 25 disposable utility knives when I sorted it out a few weeks ago.its a filing cabinet but I have one draw for power tools one for electronic tools like meters and battery chargers etc. This was r the first time I’ve seen your channel.. enjoyed the video cheers Ritchie A.
