I knew I wasn't losing it. So I've played the N64 version years ago. This is the settings I saw. I played the remastered version and...all locals seemed to have changed.

Yeah milton and marcos levels were cut and they were put in the prison instead. The remaster restores the missing levels

The snake and the woman could have assisted Jack; with training additions.

They did... Jaunty is literally Mikes's's advisor in regards to Deadside. And Nettie was and is his instructor in being a shadow man. In the game, he's not exactly new to the game. But because it is a game where the comics are not expected to be read, they talk so that anybody may understand. The thing is, Mike is the most powerful being in that universe. So he knows more than is let on. He's been Deadside for about 2-3 years by the start of the game (he became shadow man at the age of 33-34) and the game takes place in that latter time. And in Deaside times goes fast very differently from our world. Both slower but also extremely fast, That's why "Asylum" just "appeared" bjut at the same time he spends hundreds of years in his conception of time in deadside after the end of the game. But real life time has not progressed in accordance.(I think one year or two) It's fascinating! Mike is truly immortal, Jack Boniface was not. He chose when to wear the mask. Mike has it fused to his ribs. Jack made many preparations for what happens in the game. He's the one who created the shadow gates. He wrote all anybody could know of what was about to happen. It's important to know that the job of a Shadow Man, is to clean up deadside. Jack and Mike has done this a thousand times over. But the threat of Legeion was unprecedented. The only other time Deadsiders managed to cross the veil was in his comic series, and that directly proceeds the events of the game.

Why do people do this, add "on the Switch" or and other platform for that matter? It's stupid, the game (especially the remaster) is good on any platform.

Unless you're running around looking for cadeaux, it's pretty unlikely a seasoned gamer would give up and come back to Nettie or Jaunty without even picking up the first dark soul ;)

i was always annoyed 2econd Coming didn't get a remake for pc, I liked the day/night cycle that got implemented there. Also, shadowman looked so much better.

@@NuevoExistence i say 'looked better' in terms of graphics, but that's all I meant by it. If they stuck with the original character model, or did a remake where you could select the shadowman 1 skin, that also had updated graphics, then I'd be fine with that.

Where is the cutscene where you only have one piece of Le Eclipser or two pieces? Since there is different dialogue for it. As well as different Dialogue if you have no pieces when she talks about it.

I thought I got them all but it's quite possible I missed a few. I'll look into it this weekend.

Ok I think I know what you're talking about. The one I have shown is the cutscene for 2 pieces, BUT the other scenes you mention, for when you have none, or one, or all the pieces, are all basically identical scenes except for that last bit. I know for a fact that if you have all the pieces when you got to talk to Nettie about the Five and she talks about L'Eclipser, she will just tack on "You already have this blade, give it to me," to the end of the conversation. The original conversation is the same. And then the L'Eclipser ritual scene starts right after this. I made a conscious choice not to include all the variations as it's too repetitive and a bit unnecessary. Plus, Shadowman is a bit of a dick, so getting all three before he was aware he needed to doesn't gel well with his personality ;) I will update the info above for future reference.
