AWESOME JOB YOUNG LADY. MY MIND GOES BACK TO WHEN I WAS 8 YEARS OLD AND THE OLDER WOMEN WOULD HAVE US IN THE KITCHEN HELPING IN THE KITCHEN. THE FIRST THING I LEARNED TO PREPARE WAS CORNBREAD FROM SCRATCH AND THE REST IS HISTORY. WE NEED THIS MORE AND MORE GOOD COOKS TEACHING OTHER YOUNG PEOPLE TO COOK , CLEAN ,PERSONAL HYGIENE, AS WELL AS HOW TO BE WOMEN OF MORALS .

I don't know about that one. Mom is the reason we having these lessons. Her patience is short. She never made her learn and she kept trying to do it for her when we were filming. I had to tell her to stop so sis could learn 🤦🏾‍♀️. She is a mess honie but we love her dearly.

My sisters-in-law did for me the exact same thing you are doing for your sister. They all had me in their kitchen, or mine, my hands in the bowl, teaching me to add ingredients and sometimes what the consistency of the mixed ingredients was supposed to feel like. Those are precious memories of wonderful, fun times!!! I’m happy for you and your sister.

What a blessing! I wish I had someone back when I was first married to help me get started in the kitchen! I learned, but there were more bad meals than there had to be just because my mother never allowed any of her daughters in her kitchen when we were growing up!
