The moon lord didn’t attack you at that last part because since you were going fast on the fish mount, all of the true eyes of Cthulhu (the things he summons after you break an eye) don’t have time to hit you because of their long attack animations, and end up being dragged behind. He doesn’t have any other main attacks at this point.

I think a similar thing happened to HappyDays in his thrower class video where he managed to cheese the moon lord with a class who's days were numbered and was exclusively pre-hardmode. In that video, it seems that if the moon lord fight goes on long enough, the true eyes of cthulhu despawn.

26:30 From what I can google Master mode just increases the stats of the bosses, no ai change. And personally I just assume people say destroyer is the easiest since they can be cheesed by abusing the fact that it cant fly (at least nowhere near the level of the other 2 mechanical bosses). Basically using similar strats as you meanwhile twins and skeletron prime will follow you wherever you are, harder to cheese. Personally I think twins is the easiest, if I fight destroyer up close which I usually do, I don't feel like using the high ground strats, destroyer can be a menace with the amount of lazers.

Yk the good thing about shield of Cthulhu and other dash items is that if you hold the direction you dashed in right after dashing you’ll be at max speed, so with Hermes boots you can turn around in an instant while fighting a boss without losing any speed. Since you said that was a problem while using an actual arena during the mech bosses, hope this helps in future lol

so my first character in dnd was a lizardfolk wizard called glubkus, who used a homebrew urine based magic system. every long rest I could collect a jar of urine kinda like sniper tf2 with the jarate, which would give me fuel for the spells. my favorite spell my dm named pisspiss pewpew.

youre probably right about the destroyer being the easiest and skeletron prime being the hardest on classic mode. but in master mode the damage is so high that the destroyers probe lasers cant just be ignored. one hit from just one of the lasers is like a quarter of your health also by the way drills are bugged and are almost always definitively worse than pickaxes, but as an autistic homie myself, i respect the love for drills. also also chlorophyte and life fruit can spawn after youve defeated just one mech boss nowadays, just at a much slower rate, im pretty sure. im not certain about chlorophyte but i know thats at least how life fruit works now. so it makes sense why they were present in your jungle even if the plantera bulbs werent spawning. as for why your jungle wouldnt grow restless, i have 0 clue, but thats a really interesting bug and it might be worth looking into.

The reason Deerclops felt awful to fight is probably because one of her attacks in Expert Mode and up is spawning shadow hands completely at random with no warning or chance to evade, she's much more fun to fight in Classic Mode In case you do another terraria challenge: killing ladybugs apparently increases the chances of rain. It took me an embarrassingly long time to learn this

if you actually set up houses in other biomes with 2 or more villagers, if they are happy enough, the will sell pylons that teleport you to other pylons (only works if 2 villagers are nearby) great for saving time

31:45 you dont actually need to defeat the mechs to let life fruit and chlorophyte spawn. Its just that the more mechs you defeat, the more often they spawn. Also, maybe the reason it happened is because you quit without saving. If you have autosave off and you dont press "save and quit" before leaving, that is likely the case.

I play a ton of summoner as well. My guess is that the spawn rate feels way higher because for the first time you aren’t playing summoner. It’s just so relaxing having your summons kill most enemies, before the can reach you, while just building something.

I think why the destroyer was so hard was because each time you hit the boss there’s a chance a probe spawns and since the golden shower is a low damage fast hitting weapon it’s very easy to be swarmed by probes

Jokes aside, as someone with twice the hours in Terraria and experience in classes other than summoner (note: this is not judging, knowing you have dyspraxia makes that choice make a TON of sense, more power to you, man), even for me this would be a tough thing to do. The Golden Shower is powerful, but it's really best as a support tool rather than a weapon on its own merits. Also, that rope trick with the Destroyer wasn't cheating. Cheese is never cheating! It's just being craftier than the game expects. EDIT: Regarding skybridges and arena designs, I'll point out that the Destroyer is probably the one boss you WOULDN'T want to use a skybridge on, because being just on the ground is always a bad idea with it, as that gives it the most mobility, and it does best when moving in straight lines for a long period of time. Being on a really long stretch of single blocks that reduces you to going entirely in a straight line puts you squarely in the Destroyer's kill zone for the entire fight, so you'd better hope you're fast enough to outrun it. It's also interesting to hear you bring up the matter of changing directions in conventional arenas resulting in the loss of momentum- this is actually why a lot of players like me make heavy use of the Shield of Cthulhu! Dashes are an instant acceleration button that do a lot to help mitigate that problem- though that's not to say they don't also get you in trouble. If I had a dollar for every time I've accidentally bounced off a boss with my shield and gotten killed for it, I'd be rich. (There's also the problem of them making finer movements harder, as you noted earlier in the video; if I had a dollar for every time I've accidentally dashed, I'd be doubly rich. It IS a gripe I have about the controls!)

The barkeep is part of The Old One's Army. A wave based defense event. Also, the mechanical bosses change difficulty drastically depending on your loadout and weapons. I play mage so I personally find the twins to be easier.

21:10 Fun fact about potions, you can get infinite after beating skeletron. You can get an alchemy table in the dungeon that gives a 1/3 chance to not consume materials when making potions and then you can throw the potion into the shimmer to de-craft it getting all the materials from its recipe. Do this few times and youll quickly get hundreds of potions. Its not fun though so honestly using a QOL mod or just cheating them in is very fair

Deerclops is from DST! I have feeling that you may enjoy the game ;) Deerclops in Terraria plays quite differently compared to other bosses - it's designed to carry over the essence of DST combat (kiting, moving out of the attack range and back in) The shadow hands are awful though, they aren't even in DST's Deerclops fight - I would have preferred if they gave it an eye laser on the 3rd attack that forces you to switch sides by jumping over the boss

Summoner is my favourite class too and i always play in expert-master mode, so im not sure how different the classic mode mechs are, but destroyer always seemed like the hardest boss to me just because he can one shot with his head, whereas the others can at max deal half your health. Also summoner is better at single target normally, at least in my experience.
