I remember playing a game (that is now lost) called "Pocket Warriors Online" around 2011 or so. I have a few vague memories about it, it played like a "Paper, Rock, Scissors" type of game and it was a very cartoony like Paper Mario. Nope, it has nothing to do with "Pocket Warriors" released last year. Luckily, I recorded its theme song: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eZOVgJWBd7SbkK8 If anyone here has more information about it, I appreciate it

Honorable mention to two Kingdom Hearts titles: Kingdom Hearts: V-Cast, a game for the Verizon Wireless V-Cast service that wasn't developed by Square Enix (instead a company under the name Superscape). The game had no relation to the Kingdom Hearts lore nor was the lore affected. When the service shut down in 2012, the game was considered lost. As such, a hunt would go on, which resulted in 4/5 of the game recovered, as well as it's OST and models. Currently, Wonderland is the only chapter that is yet to be found. Kingdom Hearts Coded, a game that, unlike the previous one, was developed by Squeenix and is considered apart of the main KH canon, though serves more as a filler episode. The game was only released in Japan, was released episodically, was exclusive to Docomo Prime Series-P-01A Panasonic phones, and all episodes were taken down in 2013. We do have playthroughs in Japanese that (as far as I'm aware) has about or over 36 parts. It also had a demo, where it allowed you to play the game for 20 minutes, as well as try for the Olympus Coliseum world from Hercules. The game was remade into Kingdom Hearts RE:Coded and was released as a film for Kingdom Hearts 2.5 REmix.

The possible main reason why Nickelodeon removed and closed Nicktropolis, Nickelodeon Game Builder and Avatar Legends of the Arena from their website and servers was probably because Adobe Flash was reaching the decline in the early 2010s, and the fact that the mobile Android version of Flash failed to meet quality standards for Adobe after Apple's decision to exclude Flash from iOS proved to be the main reason why Nickelodeon stopped developing Flash games in the 2010s. (14:28, 15:07, 17:05) Spongebob Town was probably cancelled for the same reason, but probably also because of the decline of other browser plugins that were designed to play browser games like Unity Web Player and Shockwave in general as HTML5 was still in its infancy at the time. (8:22) Even today, there are very few HTML5 games available to play and many game developers that once developed browser games now had moved to other indie games for other platforms such as Steam and GOG.

I'm sure it has been discovered at some point but I couldn't seem to find it again. I remember an Ed Edd n Eddy web game on Cartoon Network fittingly promoting a "Supersoaker" water gun. It's a trivia-type game where for every correct answer, you get closer to finding an Ed whom are either playing tag or hide and seek, and you are rewarded with an animation of each Ed being fired with a water gun by the player offscreen after completing a level. While horribly compressed being a 2005(+/-) online game, the animation matched the quality you'd see in the show. It'd be great to find higher-res versions of the in-game footages.

Guys I need help. I have this video game I’m trying to find, it’s a life simulator. If my memory is correct, the name is “Nevedna- The Game Of Life”. I downloaded it a while ago and deleted it when I finished the game, but when I tried downloading it back I couldn’t find it. When I found the game I scrolled down really low on “Bitlife” or “Life Simulator Games” the game icon is a picture of a 8-bit man with brown hair and black eyes. What I remember of the game is that it starts out with a “mystery person” (I think their name was death?) telling us about how we have 100 lives to live through. Basically explaining how the game works. We can also say stuff back. They then tell us about a evil spirit who will try to trick you into freeing her soul. You also get a few choices of what you can say back. Now you get to play a few lives. Then after your first few lives it cuts to the spirit. The spirit tells you how death is actually evil and you need to free her soul. You then get to play a few lives but this time, you have a option to go searching for the soul in the choices like “you see a haunted house” or “your friends left you behind while going hiking, you see a dark cave, will you go in?” When you free the soul the soul actually s reveals they are tricking you into freeing them, then the soul runs away. You play a few more lives trying to get the soul back, but when you see the soul again (when you get to your 100th life) the soul apologizes for tricking you and reveals that death is actually evil, and they need a way out. Then it cuts to death saying that you are a fool for letting Soul go, but since Death knows it’s your last life he kills both you and the soul and that’s when the game ends. If anyone knows how to find this game or have any information on it plz comment!

If it helps, my dad and i played it during the 2010's so it was most likely made in a decently recent time. I also vividly remember it being accessible through a simple google search. There were also other characters in the game, one was a squirrel i think. And incase youre worried, i was not traumatized or scared by this game, i was actually very happy. Hopefully this info can help find this mysterious game.

One game I’d like to add to this iceberg is Crazyracing Kartrider, specifically the international versions of the game released in the United States, Japan, Europe, Russia, and Indonesia. Weirdly enough the Indonesian version has several tracks in it that never made it into the main version of the game that operates in South Korea.

look into the band The Residents, they made two old games many years ago (others after on cd and such that are easy to buy, so wont count), one a pacman kind of ripoff one based on Mark of the Mole show. nobody has been able to get a proper full gameplay video, just a couple screenshots, someones photo of a cart, and a short clip from The Eyes Scream

they really nailed the aesthetic with family guy online. I don't know who thought it would ever succeed though, as the show just doesn't work as a game. they should've done it with the simpsons.

I loved pet pet park when I was younger! I forgot about it and always thought it was a neopets game? Also have you heard of the McDonald’s online game? Every toy back when I was younger “2000s” came with a little card promoting the McDonald’s online multiplayer game so I made an account but no one was online and I got bored and gave up the game… the characters kinda look like bobble heads? I’ve played tons of online games I can’t find anymore but that’s the only one I would think would be archived🤷🏻‍♀️

I thought Spore 2D was referring to a completely different game (but the one in the list is one that I actually played a lot). When I was about 8 or 9, I found a Flash game that was "inspired by the cell stage". It was very similar, and all I remember about it was that you would make your cell longer and more effective at eating, whatever it was. I think the link itself had something about loch-ness in it? (Assuming that was the creator's name and nothing really, special.)

There is a spore fangame called thrive i think that wanted to improve on everything spore did with actual biological elements, but has never gone past the cell stage. If you like that kind of thing and there's a chance that the creator of that flash game may have kept going with the concept, there's a good video on here by Curious Archive titled something like "simulating evolution through video games" and goes through the history of this kind of game from the 80s all the way to a selection of modern day indie games.

ABOUT THE SPORE ONE: this is not silvertree media's only lost game, as their first game, Toybox kingdoms, is also completely lost. There is absolutely no gameplay videos, and only a few concept art of its existence. I remember playing the spore game when I was very young, but I barely spoke English and it was too early of a memory to recall properly. The company who owned the game shut down in 2013 and without warning.

i'm very *very* surprised thrill kill isn't on here, it caused quite the stir in the late '90s and was cancelled well into development as a result of that decade's wave of anti-videogame-violence sentiment. virgin & e.a. wouldn't touch it 'cos of its "violent and disturbing imagery", obviously it looks tame now but it actually wasn't anywhere the likes of mk in terms of gore, but yeah, as i said it was a victim of moral outrage unfortunately. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thrill_Kill

Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow: Flying Legion Air Combat Challenge is a 3D plane combat game released to promote the film. It is now inaccessible due to the fact that it needs to connect to a server to start. I was wondering if anybody on here could find a way around the server activation. The server was necessary to run the high score contest, the winner of which won a ticket to attend the premier of the movie in London. The game is broken up into four levels. In level one, pilots must navigate through New York and destroy the Giant Robots. In level two players take to the skies and battle the Flying Wings that are attacking the city. Level three takes place underwater, as your plane becomes submersible and you join the Amphibious Squadron a specialized fleet of planes designed to combat under the sea in battle against the Giant Mechanized crabs that roam the ocean floor. The final level featuring battle around Commander Cook’s (Angelina Jolie) Flying Fortress will be released a few weeks prior to the cinematic release of Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow on September 17th. I played it at the time the film was released and I remember it being very difficult. The original site is long gone but you can find a copy of the game online. But the game will remain essentially lost unless we can find a way to bypass the online checks.
