to be fair I was always a bit annoyed that Ariana didn't get that many moments in the spotlight in Victorious. I didn't like her character, but her singing voice was phenomenal compared to everyone else. I don't listen to her music now but it's undeniable that she has talent. I'm still upset at how Disney made me think those outfits in this show _(and other shows)_ were fire. I wanted to dress in clothes like that but now that I'm an adult that can buy clothes, I realize how ugly they are. A Disney outfit on this show is a long sleeved shirt with a spaghetti strap top over it, a skirt with jeans, some either dangly or gigantic belt thing, a lot of bracelets and maybe a glove on one hand and some big clunky boots with *_none_* of the colors matching whatsoever. As I typed this I realize they mostly had outfits like these for the shows where the main character had some sort of performance type role or were famous in some way.

For example the umbrella academy had characters explicitly stated as being Swedish when as a Swede, hearing them speak they very obviously weren't. They always play up accents as a joke in places like America even if the accents aren't even accurate.
