Shalenadive, I can't believe that you have 88 thumbs down. This is going to be helpful to me and my little girl. You encourage me so much. I have had my hair natural since around 2009-2010. I even grew my hair out past my rib cage but I didn't do anything to my hair and it looked a hot mess lol. I want to take it very seriously now. I want my little girls hair to grow as long as she want's it to grow out naturally, that is. Her dad put a relaxer on hair against my wish and then another one and finally the stepmunster put a keratin treatment on her head with out okaying it with me. I had no choice but to have it relaxed this year per the stylist and also due to middle school peer pressures. She is now twelve years old. I really want her to have healthy, longer hair this 2017. Thanks for sharing and thanks for caring.

Hey!!! I pray that you continue to learn how to love your hair and show your daughter how to by leading by example. She's still young. Let her experiment. As she grows into a young lady and finds herself, she will ultimately define what beauty means for herself and embrace it. Support her along the way. GREAT JOB, MOM!!!

Just wanted to let you know the egg white contains about 4.8g of protein the yolk 2.9- 3.2g of protein so it would be better to just use the whole egg. Running it through a strainer helps it mix with the other ingredients better. hop this helps someone.

Hey Shalena thank you for taking the time out to do the hair boot camp and educate and inspire us to take our hair care very seriously. I have been natural now coming up on four years. However I was wearing sewn in weaves which I thought was helping my hair. Now that I am wearing my hair out I am excited about prepooing. I found Rapunzel through your blogs and hairfinity and the potion. I am trying to come up with a regime that will work for me to maintain my healthy hair.

banana is a good substitute. It does the same thing--shiny, strong results, high in potassium and other vitamins. Just make sure to blend it very very smoothly, it is prone to get caught in hair if not. baby food banana purees are most commonly used. also coconut milk. it is even higher in potassium and proteins. ;D

Hi I hope you don't mind me subbing to you. I have very curly hair and to make any headway whatsoever with my hair I use a lot of African hair products. I also make a deep conditioning mask with mayo, egg yolk and olive oil, after using the dryness has gone. I also use the NO Poo hair wash, that helps so much. I'm definitely going to no poo my hair using your advocardo, I'm not bothered about my hair being straight, I just want it soft with no dry ends. Yes my colour is natural too, and I never use a hairdryer to dry my hair, or own straighteners. I usually just use my dryer to help warm my hair once I've put a plastic cap on. Looking forward to learning more. Thanks ☺

I hope it will help you.

Fi so long many have been taught how to treat their hair European way instead of with their own natural hair textures. I am so grateful that I came across your videos. I plan to try this recipe and hope it works for me. I had a weave added to my hair once for a wedding where I was a bridesmaid years ago. Hated it. Now I want to see if my hair will grow so I can leave the harsh chemicals alone. Thanks again.

ok, so I fell asleep w/ it in my hair by accident. I hope I did not mess anything up. I dont think my hair was soft after, not sure if that was from using baking soda & vinegar to wash it or if it comes from sleeping in it all night. I did notice, however, that I did not have the usual HANDS FULL of hair coming out each time I run my them through my hair while washing it. There was may be one & half of a hand full this morning. When I styled it, it was the same thing.... a few strands! LORD HAVE MERCY! Thank you!

i also do a treatment like this once a week; you can do it as many time as you would like but i recommend doing this mask once a week or twice a month mainly because it is very protein rich and if you have to much protein in your heir it will lead to hair loss and scalp irritation. Hope this helped,

any hair product can suits any hair, its just depends with the texture wise ,obviously if u have knda more thin hair type than hers then time wise will be less,if do use the same techniques u going to live the conditioner/mask for less time and also white hair dont need oil as much as african hair dosent so some conditioners are really oily so u dont want that, but for thicker hair it is the best.

I know GOD revealed this to you because He did the same to me many years age. I have been making my own hair and skin products for at least a couple of decades. I also have remedies from my grandmother too. However, in 1999, I was diagnosed with a lump in my left breast and I had a large protruding mole the size of a very large blackberry that the doctors wanted to cut off and test for cancer. However, I told them no, I went home, fast and prayed and GOD revealed to me which foods to eat to get rid of the lump and the mole. I literally watched the mole drain, dry up and fall off in my hand and eventually, the lump shrunk and disappeared. Decades later, after a car accident that temporarily left me unable to walk, GOD revealed to me which foods to combine to make a natural painkiller because the prescription painkillers made me sick. So, when your video on hair popped up I was curious to see which ingredients you were using. Although I do use eggs and avocado with different other ingredients, I do not use vegetable oil.

Good video, but just like other cultures your hair can get knotty or tangled really bad. So if your hair gets really matted-just use the Take Down remover/detangler cream. it will soften the hair deeply and allow you to safely detangle without hair loss.

Great video! Love the detailed content thanks for sharing! I've been incorporating this method on my hair for a couple year and I love the results when I do this during the cold, dry winter season. I wanted to add that using Brown Organic eggs (farmers market or supermarket) in the pre-poo mask, make a big difference. Organic eggs may be expensive, but it's worth the investment to introduce natural properties in your body. the body digests those minerals and vitamins fast and better long-term. Also if you're using Coconut Oil, make sure it says "Unrefined", meaning none of the natural properties have been striped which is essential minerals for the body and hair. Again, thanks for sharing this- very informative and I love your results!

Hey, did post a video. It was bone straight without a flat iron. It's a technique Domincan hairstylists use to get hair straight without the flat iron. Most women in PHilly get their hair washed, then go straight to the blowdryer, but getting roller set then a blowout is much better in my opinion.

I am getting ready to try this recipe and then will inform you of 'My' results.🙄 Yes, I am Aware that this video was posted many years ago, but if I can help anyone by posting what 'My Experience' was using this method then that is Exactly what I am going to do!😏💯 Btw, why did U change up the recipe for this video, but used different ingredients when you did the Avocado pre-poo for "your neighbor" (older woman that U also did a 'Natural Perm')?🤔 Actually, I believe you Omitted an ingredient or two (2). The oil used in That video was vegetable, but you didn't mention that particular oil in This video (I'm asking because I'm curious & would like to know if it makes a difference).🤔 Well, let me get started on my hair and as I previously stated, I will post 'My' results!👌 Thanks!👍
