Bigeye Ocean Perch, Helicolenus barathri. Not part of the same family as scorpionfishes, but they're in the order Scorpaeniformes, which is a diverse order that includes Scorpionfishes, Flatheads, Sea Robins, Stonefishes and my personal favourite the Blobfishes! Great vid Sammy!

I always get a kick out of how excited you guys get catching baby bluefish. I guess I'm spoiled because I grew up catching tons of 8 to 12 pounders in the surf with the occasional 15 pounder mixed in. Still your enthusiasm is contagious!

I just thought given the potential danger of fishing the surf line and your safety in some of your other vids that you would have at least worn some inflatables. Just as a safety message.
