Wow, Rabbi Reuven you are one of the greatest speakers of the generation, in my humble opinion. Kiruv inspires all! Thank you.

To me the most important thing right now for any Jew living outside Israel would be to return to Eretz Israel and not look back, just like Lot fled from Sidom.

Is Rabbi Reuven for or against the vaccine?
@midwestdesign1952 жыл бұрын
If he keeps halacha and obeys the kosher laws of HaShem then he's against it. But let's see if they answer you.
@ThatGuy-sd3zl2 жыл бұрын
He’s not anti-vaccine. He said it very clearly in a lecture. If you not getting vaccinated will decrease Torah observance as you’re no longer able to go Shul to pray or the yeshiva won’t let you come in to study etc, you must take it. If not getting vaccinated doesn’t affect your Torah observance in any way, then it’s your choice.

I have to disagree with the rabbi on how he adorns his wife. I don’t believe women should be adorned or given excesses or lavish things. That’s not to say I agree with guys who spend all their money adorning themselves in finery, but rather the husband should lead by example in being humble and frugal himself and expecting the same from his wife, so that they both don’t lose eyes for hashem or get caught in materialistic endeavours
@YaronReuvenRabbi2 жыл бұрын
How many years have you been with your wife?
@oTuro2 жыл бұрын
@@YaronReuvenRabbi Shalom Rav, I am still unmarried. I just feel from experience that adorning a woman with finery, trinkets & designer rubbish generates a certain unfavourable attitude and behaviour in her and believe it to be wiser to constrain the amount of possessions and resources she has access to to keep her personality in check and retain dependency and control in the relationship. משלי כא:יט lest I spoil her and create a contentious spoilt brat
@@oTuro if you were not you, but rather someone else, would you listen to the Sages who were divinely inspired geniuses with long-term happy marriages or someone that was not married and perhaps got some BAD experience from forbidden relationships?
@oTuro2 жыл бұрын
@@YaronReuvenRabbi Do you think there should be different ways of treating different kinds of woman? Perhaps Holy Women (wives of the chachamim) vs Non-holy women. Perhaps their advice applies greatly to innocent minded god-fearing women, not the social-media raised sin-exposed ego-status-driven women of today. My personal experience is intimacy with 50+ women and many long term relationships. It's not marriage but it is understanding of general female psychology. I don't doubt the sages of blessed memory, i just feel we need to distinguish the difference between Holy and Non-Holy women. To which the former deserve all that you say and more.
