I cannot say enough for Dr. Yo, I was a 10 when I stumbled upon her videos a couple of days ago. My blood pressure was so high I was told to go to the emergency room by the local walk in doctor. Instead I found help online. Thanks to Dr. Yo , I know that I'm not alone and my blood pressure is now normal just two days later. God bless Dr. Yo. and thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I had a huge setback yesterday. I was angry with myself that I was doing so well but feel like I'm back at square one. So it brought on a huge panic attack (I almost wantedto go to hospital). I tried talking myself through it saying "you've been through this before, you're not going to collapse or have a seizure". I broke down crying and said I hate myself and I do at the moment. I can't sit I feel like I'm moving, i can't lay in bed I feel like my body is sinking. It's like home isn't a safe place for me. Right now my main comfort comes from your videos. I feel less alone in this horrible wobbly world.

I am sorry you have been having such a rough time. It is really hard when you're trying to reassure yourself and it doesn't work because you just feel so awful. Hugs. It will not be like this forever.

@@TheSteadyCoach Thank you. Life af hkme doesn't help with how I'm feeling right now. Also my dr refuses to send for an mri since I passed thd neurological exams and I can't afford to go private.

Thank you for saying that, Pavel. These symptoms completely wreck people’s lives and how they see themselves, and we need to have lots more conversations about how to deal with that.

It’s honestly so embarrassing to be the person that can’t do something because of symptoms. To be the one that needs medical attention. This video is great. This is definitely a huge hurdle for me.

I haven’t been on since I accidentally deleted myself. I do want to say, I think what was going through was part of brain fog, anxiety, etc. things continue to improve. I have had a ton of shame. Definitely working on it and learning a lot the last 2 years. Oh, this is Cheri. Megan’s journey is so similar to mine. She has been so helpful.

OMG I am a therapist and have been in neck pain for most of 45 years. I am loving your videos and wonder which direction to turn. Do you also work with chronic muscular pain? This recent video is spot on. I actually also began night dizziness about 7 years ago. It affects some daily balance and I am totally resonating with your videos. Right now I am watching Vivian's story. :) Most of all I love your spirit and your passion to help people in anyway you can. Love Lin PS I am a tennis player and for awhile my eyes could not keep up with the moving ball after a few back and forth strokes over the net. That has improved but balancing after standing up and uneven surfaces are hard.

Hello! Thank you very much for your videos, I am following your free course and I hope to recover. My question is, my audiologist told me that it is very likely that I have psychogenic vertigo (this after a BPPV, 5 years dizzy) is this the same that PPPD? I have practically all the symptoms of PPPD
@TheSteadyCoach
@TheSteadyCoach Жыл бұрын
Yes! Psychogenic dizziness is neural circuit dizziness/PPPD.

How to differentiate PPPD & BVD(Binocular vision dysfunction)? I think both of them gives similar symptoms like diziness, headache, migraine, light sensitivity, panick attacks, getting dizzy in crowded areas like grocery stotes and movie theatres.. Along with these symptoms I always feel facial pain..
@TheSteadyCoach
@TheSteadyCoach Жыл бұрын
I talk about this in depth here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pWGpZ6GVhqdnn7c BVD is generally a normal abnormality that is often blamed for symptoms.

Hi Dr. Yonit, do you think Anxiety and anxiety disorders like panic disorder, general anxiety etc are mind body syndromes like PPPD is? By definition mind body disorders are physical symptoms that your brain is producing and with anxiety disorders the brain is causing the bodily symptoms of anxiety/fight flight. I’m using your content to heal from PPPD and feel like it would also help for anxiety panic attacks etc. Teaching your brain you are safe can stop panic attacks instead of being on medication. can we use these methods to also heal from anxiety, panic attacks, etc? Side note: I think Julie mentions in her success video that she uses the same methods for healing pppd for her anxiety. So I was thinking you could probably use these methods for panic disorder if you don’t want to use SSRI’s but I’m not sure if that would be considered a mind body thing lol.
@TheSteadyCoach
@TheSteadyCoach Жыл бұрын
Ooh you always have such great questions! Thank you for this one. You are technically correct about the definition of mindbody disorder, but there is already a questionable assumption in the term "mindbody," that the mind and body are separate systems that just come together for this one disorder! The fact is, the mind and body are ONE system so anything that affects the body affects the mind and vice versa. How the symptoms show up varies, but from my perspective, the fundamental issue is often the same. To your question- as far as I'm concerned, the exact same fundamental issues (lack of safety in the body, unprocessed emotions, stress, trauma, other psychosocial factors) trigger chronic medically unexplained physical symptoms and many chronic medically unexplained mental health conditions (anxiety, depression, panic disorder, etc.). Dr. Schubiner (Unlearn Your Pain) even has a book called Unlearn Your Anxiety that has exactly the same techniques as the books on neuroplastic pain.

Perfect timing Dr Yo. I was just shaming myself prior for smashing into the countertop carrying a cintainer to the dishwasher. Such a simple task but as we all know, our sense of space and time is screwed. I will definitely try this method. Have taken time out of the community (Cherie) and have been reading a lot on IFS. Hope all is well, will be back in the community soon. 🫶✨️💚😇
