it depends how much you want to lift. We would only suggest a bleach cocktail to lighten the hair either half a level or at most 1 level. The results will be unpredictable past that. You can check it in 10 mins then every 5 probably depending on what brand of bleach you're using and the peroxide

What would u suggest this cost wise when doing it on a salon?
@lpg85185 жыл бұрын
So when you do a bleach wash or bath to lighten the hair, you then follow with color right? I did the bleach bath and my hair feels raw so I'm assuming I need to put color on it. Thanks.
@nvennhairbeauty5 жыл бұрын
It doesn't need a color to make it soft, a mask can do that. Chances are though, after a bleach cocktail you'll want to tone it just to help neutralize the exposed pigment☺️
@tsmiles_3 жыл бұрын
I know this has been up a bit but I think it might be just what I need. My hair is a natural level 4/5 that I had been dying closer to a level 3 Ash for a while and realized that the cool dark tone wasn’t the best for me. I did a color remover to try and get most of the darker build up off and then dyed it with level 5G Natural Instincts to get it where I want. It actually came out great overall but my ends are still a bit too dark (I think they just had more build up of old color) Was thinking I Could a do this bleach wash when I next go to refresh the color - focusing on these darker ends to get that last bit of dark color out? I don’t really need to lighten the mids and the Demi works well for me, just need to bump the ends…
@nvennhairbeauty3 жыл бұрын
Yessss! That's the right technique. Bleach will lift anything it touches so only put it on the darker areas that need it 😉👌

Hi, how many shades would you be able to go lighter with just a bleach wash, when the hair is dyed with a 4N+ a little 5A?
@nvennhairbeauty3 жыл бұрын
I would only use a shampoo bleach cocktail for 1-1.5 levels. It's not that it can't do more but more than 2 levels would expose a lot of under pigment that is easier dealt with in the lightening process (rather then in the toning stage)
@rickysmith10402 жыл бұрын
Can i mix lighting powered to shampoo to bleach my hair?
@nvennhairbeauty2 жыл бұрын
You could but you would only get a half level to a level of lift and it wouldn't be even. You would have to tone it to even it out and neutralize it for sure. I wouldn't recommend it if you wanted to go lighter than that.

@nvennhairbeauty3 жыл бұрын
If you hair is virgin, then yes it will be enough. You can use a 20 or 30 vol even. If your hair is artificially colored, you will just have to try and see. Sometimes the answer is yes, sometimes no. There are so many factors that play into it. Hopefully that answers your question xoxo

becksta29 Hi becksta29, thanks for the love ❤ Veronica used a level 5 as we did not want the end result too ashy. At the root, she does mix half ash and half natural to counteract hot roots. The heat from the scalp causes the roots to pull warmer. With this formulation, the color comes out nice and even roots to ends.

Hello, could a bleach bath remove the copper shadow? A hairdresser thought it was a good idea to dye my hair copper when I said I wanted it lighter (as in blond) and even thou I have dyed it blond on top, it keeps coming out and I have nothing against copper, but its not what Im looking for. Like it wasnt enough, I got a no orange treatment and now roots are a complete different color Thanks
@nvennhairbeauty4 жыл бұрын
Yes you can. If the pigment is strong though you might just need it lightened out. Copper and red pigments like to linger 😅
@brittanywilson97253 жыл бұрын
I’m wanting to try this on my hair but I’m scared of getting “hot roots” so my question is, do you start on the ends and let it process for a few minutes before doing the scalp like you would a normal bleaching process or can you do it all at one since it’s a wash?
@nvennhairbeauty3 жыл бұрын
Virgin hair will DEFINITELY lift faster than anything colored. My technique would change depending on what the natural color is, what the desired level is and how thick their hair is. For example, If I had a client that had a natural level 1 and had ends colored to a 4 but they waned to be a 5 or a 6, it would be ok to do it all at once because the virgin hair has a long ways to go before its too light. It would really depend. If you can give some insight to the situation you are applying it to, then I can give some advice. If you want more help with formulating, you can check out www.MasterHairAcademy.com 😘

How would you go about doing this if the roots are the shade you’re looking for because of grow out but everything else is one level darker than the roots? I’d like to bring everything to the same color of my roots so they blend better. Or would you recommend doing highlights or reverse ombré instead to try and mask that color difference while it grows out?
@nvennhairbeauty4 жыл бұрын
honestly, i'm about ease and efficiency🙆♀️. if your hair is in good shape, and you are only going one level lighter, AND you are planning on staying your natural color for a while, i would just do the same thing as the video. (finish the look by coloring your hair back to your natural color). highlights take a long time and for just one level of lift, i'm not sure it's worth the effort. if your hair was damaged/ processed then yes that could be a better solution because you could use a lower peroxide and just put in enough foils to blend out the color rather than coloring your whole head. hopefully that helps. please share our videos and our channel with anyone that you think will benefit. we love being able to help people with their hair beauty🥰. btw madison🙂, we do a monthly product giveaway (no purchase necessary). i'm not sure if that interests you but if it does, the next draw is coming up in 2 weeks! if you want to enter, be sure to enter at www.nvenn.com/giveaway before april 30.💕

nvennhairbeauty so doing this- you start with the hair already wet correct? And so you’re not putting it in like a dye strip by strip avoiding roots first right? Do you do just whole head and put it in as if you’re washing your hair- so all over right away?

Yes but we would suggest using nvenn's wash. It's really gentle. The coconut based cleanser acts as barrier to protect your hair. The biggest perk of doing a shampoo cocktail is that it is gentle on your hair. Some shampoos are super harsh and feel horrible just from shampooing alone. If you want to snag some wash to do your shampoo cocktail with you can grab some at www.nvenn.com/collections/all-products/products/shampoo-conditioner xoxo 💕

hello christina, how are you? i would love to help you! the thing is, i don't have an answer for you. there is never any guarantee as to how a shampoo cocktail will rinse out🥴. there are so many factors that would affect the results like the type of bleach that was used, if the previous color was box dye or professional etc. MY BEST ADVICE is to go to a professional that is experienced with color corrections. if you show them the end result that you want, they will know exactly what steps to take to get your there. btw, we do a monthly hair product giveaway and the draw is happening in 2 days! if this interests you and you want to enter (no purchase necessary), you can do so at www.nvenn.com/giveaway 🥰

@@nvennhairbeauty Thanks for replying! I finally got the courage to try it late last week. I used Wella lightening powder and 20 vol developer, because that's what I found at Sally's. The ratio is a little different for that brand; it's 1:2 powder to developer, so I did 1:2:1 powder:developer:shampoo and it worked beautifully! I checked it every 5 min, and stayed away from my roots because they were all outgrowth (didn't want "hot" roots). After 25 min, my hair was a shade lighter, and the variation was gorgeous. I didn't even need to deposit color on top, though I did deposit some Naturcolor on my roots so they'd match. I absolutely LOVE this method. THANK YOU so much for demonstrating it. I will certainly be using it again in perhaps 6 months, so that I don't damage my hair. My hairdresser was seriously impressed with my work :)
