Another Mississippi WFPBOF practitioner! Hello from Brandon / Reservoir Shane. We’re now following your site. Awesome episode Rip! Say hello to your Dad for me!

LOVED THIS ONE!! Been following both you Shane, (and Rip), for years!! Shane, your cornbread recipe was what snagged me years back! Delicious!! Didn’t know you were a Mississippi native. (Deep South Mississippi girl here.) More power and prayers to you! Mississippi needs to be re-educated about food…and the plethora of food deserts for countless needy people are heartbreaking.🙏🌱🕊👋

loving the recipes on his site. Easy is the key. I do not do recipes with many steps of ingredients . these are so easy.

Shane is awesome ❤️🔥 I love so many of his recipes I have made! They are truly simple and delicious. Being a fellow Mississippian I can relate to his plant based sausage patties and biscuits and gravy! Thanks for the great podcast!

Great interview!! I enjoy Shane's blog and his laid back, friendliness. He tends to use quite a bit of maple syrup in a lot of recipes, but you can cut back or even eliminate it, (like in some savory dishes), most times. Really enjoyed getting to know him better here. Thanks so much, Rip!

For the Indian dishes. You can get fat free coconut milk in the baking section at Sprout's, perhaps Kroger. It gives the food a more authentic flavor without the fat

Dear Rip, I really want you to make podcast with vegan bodybuilder and talk more about the plant strong diet implementation into bodybuilding. I am plant strong myself for the past 4 years and I feel so much better but bodybuilding always was my hobbie and I can't see many proffesional IFBB pros going vegan so the topic would be awesome because many guys are trying to build muscles (including myself) but nobody want to be unhealthy in long run... Thank you for your work, Cheers from UK!

You might check out Rip's interview with Robert Cheeke and Matt Frazier (kzbin.info/www/bejne/pKutaJ53rJmVnqs) about their book, 'The Plant Based Athlete'. There's a good amount of info. in the book on vegan bodybuilding.

For curries I just will add about 2 oz of coconut milk and top up the rest with almond milk. And with a curry feeding 4-6 people the fat content is very dilute and you will still have the flavour

OMG, I bought organic BBQ sauce from Trader Joe's and loved ever bit of it splashed onto my steamed veges!! And then realized somehow the sugar content. I shopped again at TJ's and then Whole Foods, and all were added sugar up to 16grams. I bought organic instead with no sugar. dam

Where did u get no salt BBQ sauce? Did they add more salt to compensate for lost sugar?
