Old school Thrash is awesome and this band were great and very underrated... R. I. P Keith Dean!

My most favourite music ever, while my friends were blastin' metallica I was totally addicted to their music, basically I formed a band after listening to their second album, check it out, that's brilliant.

Platonically speaking, "The Immoral Wastelands" from Mind Wars might be in my Thrash Olympus, probably pissing behind the throne

Should have recommended anything off "mind wars" such an amazing album one of the best albums of the 80s.

I had the cassette. Thought they were a more sinister sounding Maiden. Don’t know why they didn’t get more play. Solid pick

one my favourite songs of all time, heavy but melodically moving and beautiful.

Seen Holy Terror in Chicago back in 87 with DRI and Kreator. Still have the flyer. Great show.

Holy Terror fuckin rules. Keith Deen is one of the most underrated metal vocalists to ever live. Rage.

Big Holy Terror fan but, IMO, not one of their better songs. Try Black Plague, Judas Reward or Christian Resistance Rigor Mortis suggestion,…Bodily Dismemberment

this one works better in the context of the album

Agreed that this song is better taken as part of the whole album (Terror & Submission)...and I really like the little trippy guitar harmonies closing out the end of eachbline of the verses. Mind Wars was amazing, though. Lots of tempo changes, & crunchy goodness mixed in with the guitar harmonies. My favorites are Immoral Wasteland, Judas Reward, and A Fool's Gold/Terminal Humor, but Christian Resistance etc. are all good. Keith Deen had a seriously powerful voice. True story: one show, the power went out & killed the PA. Deen finished the set w/no vocal amplification, & somehow it WORKED. You could hear him. He died in 2012, b/c he didn't discover his cancer in time (diagnosed in sept. of 2012 & died 3 mos. later). As a former vocalist i respectthe hell out of him. He put so many different tasty styles into otherwise thrashy music...it's what helped distinguished their sound from so many other bands of that age.

That was a solid "OK" for me....didn't love it but didn't hate it, either. Loved the old school sound but was not overwhelmed otherwise.....

Are they trying to be a Christian band but failed? This is a hard pass for me but I like the band name. Reminds me of when The Lord Jesus Christ said “Vengeance is Mine”. Hey, Shane, look into some more SAINT-‘Time’s End’ album and Tourniquet’s album ‘Stop the Bleeding’. God bless and Metal on!

I know you've done them in the past but both songs were from the same album. How about some VIRGIN STEELE - BLOOD AND GASOLINE?

I'm going to have to give this a hard pass. I don't think there's nothing wrong with the song but it wasn't my cup of tea. Thank you for sharing Shane.

@@Satori2317 "anti-christian" themes on metal archives, so wouldn't call them satanic but definitely a secular band.
