I have one of these in .22, with a Hawke 3x9x40 and the same bipod as you😁 Mine did 9.68 ft/lbs with 16grn pellets on a cold day at my gunsmiths - more than happy with that! Mine does 35 shots per capsule on a warm day, although I swap out after 28 shots for the best quality shots. I put an after market (larger) bolt on mine plus a butt bag for storage of magazines etc. As you say, great bit of kit with a very nice trigger unit for the price

Good video, just bought one on your recommendation and I'm not disappointed. thanks. I think the port on the side is to allow unused CO2 to escape without giving you a cold burn when removing the cartridge as much as a viewing port.

Snowpeak produces them Shane. If you were to buy a large number of these CP2's you could have your own brandname printed on the CP2 and box/manual. Thanks for your review.

Got the same bipod it has a barrel clamp or use it on a 20mm dovetail. Had it for about 6yrs and I got mine from parkairsoft on eBay, from Hong Kong I paid £15 delivered then, will be a few quid more now though. They have spring loaded extendable legs too 👍🏻

I like the sight you put on it! I have lots of sights I can use, but I plan to use one of these cheaper red-dots first. I like the low profile. The Camo version is really cool. Mine is black and called the Diana Chaser. Such a great value for the money, I immediately bought 2 of the rifle kits. Thanks for the video!

The allen head you can see through the guard isn't the trigger adjust, it's more of a retaining bolt to seat the action in the stock, Take the bolt that you can see off and remove the trigger guard, the adj bolt is on the upper rear of the trigger blade. :-D Tiny allen head. Edit* Also a lefty here, no intention of using pistol mode as it was purchased for a Bullpup project, bolt is perfect for my needs. 👍

Im about to but one but not sure whether to get the .177 or 22, do you have any suggestions? Im leaning towards the 177 as the pellet flies 100fps faster than the 22, im going to be shooting small game and targets ???
@shaneweightman Жыл бұрын
I personally would go for 177 , ammo is cheaper and at longer distance shooting the arc of the pellet is less with 177 , all my guns are 177 except 2 , for the reasons just stated , good luck hope you have fun , cheers shane

Great video. Just got one myself. Just wondering how you managed to get the rear sights off the log barrel. Tried undoing the screw and removed the spring but will not budge. Does it need a good tap to slide off?
@temporecustos57222 жыл бұрын
Nigel Brown. First take the spring and screw off the sight than find a piece of plastic about 2.5 mm thick and a few inches long. Place the plastic at the back [ bolt end } of the barrel and give the plastic drift a sharp tap with a small hammer. Site just slides off forward as it's just a friction fit ,leaving an additional dovetail. Good luck.

Hi. Do you reckon I could kill rabbits with a CP2 if I was close. Like 20 feet or so away and hit a kill zone? Just I tend to just find Warren's and set up hiding real close and wait for them to come back out (about 15 minutes) So I'm usually in close range. Anyone

Maybe Artemis couldn't cope with the demand so they "Farmed Out" some of the work to SMK & allowed them to put their name on it? - It's what Business is all about - Money!!!!! (Artemis get a % age back for every SMK version sold) A deal (like most) Probably made on the Golf Course!!!
@johnphillips19552 жыл бұрын
SMK (Sportsmarketing) are (only) the UK importers. The folk who actually make the CP2 (and a whole host of other airguns) are SPA, one of biggest Chinese airgun manufacturers. Artemis, Victory etc are (or more accurately, were) brand names used by SPA. SPA are now branding all of their offering under a single brandname - Snowpeak - although until all stocks are used up, you’ll still see Artemis, Victory etc on guns. SMK being a big importer have the “clout” to have their name screen printed on guns but apart from shifting boxes, have little input to the guns. Diana also have sufficient clout to have SPA offerings branded in their name. Essentially, Snowpeak, SPA, SMK, Artemis, Victory, Diana (plus a few other names) are all the exact same guns. hth

@shaneweightman3 жыл бұрын
Sure would , as much as any other uk legal air rifle , the gun is averaging 11.4 to 11.6 ft lbs of power , I believe up to 40 yards , cheers Shane
@bigmacntings74513 жыл бұрын
This gun in out of the box format-rifle mode,I would not trust 8.5ft/lbs for a clean kill on a rabbit. Small rodents like rats or a pigeon at 10m yes, 20m with the right pellets. For a decent clean despatch there's several parameters that you need. 1) accuracy 2) shot positioning 3)overall output power of the gun 4)muzzle velocity of pellet 5)energy retention of pellet over distance 6)penetration and spread of pellet on impact

How did you manage to dismount the rear sight that comes fittet standard in the middle of the rifle barrel?
@shaybladescutlery91512 жыл бұрын
You remove the screw on the sight for distance, and the iron site hinges up, the screw that hold the whole thing to the stock is under there when you hinge the sight up.
