Most people still don't get the key point of China's system. It's neither communist nor capitalist, but a hybrid of various ideologies and its own culture, something brand new. Only when you realize this, you could understand how adaptable CPC is.

Considering that there’s actual controversies for China and not small issues that are blown out of proportion like the US, I think there should be some consideration of that. Remember that the US has memories of Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King Jr. proudly presented, why does the CCP not love people like the Tiananmen Square Protesters? The US actually improved from their actual controversies, China has covered it up and is still censoring controversies from 1989 even today.

As far as an administration really cares the people, listen to the people and really work for the people, who cares the name of it, who cares whether it is “elected” like Western countries? After seeing the last American election and the election in Taiwan, most Chinese people do not define democracy as election. Democracy should be defined by people support!

"Socialism with Chinese Characteristics" looks alien so far to people who are not familiar with what actually Socialism means. When you are taught and brainwashed from young that the opposite of Democracy is Socialism or that Freedom and Democratic principles don't exist in Socialist countries, then that is what Western philosophy says but not Asian or Chinese philosophy way of understanding. Every country in the world practice some form of socialism when they have policies like social welfare, free healthcare, free education, poverty programs etc to help the majority of those in the bottom rungs of societal development to benefit from the wealth generated in the country via mostly Govts. Capitalism can exists even in socialist countries via private or state enterprises which acts just like private individuals in the pursuit of profits (western interpretation of Capitalist). The socialism in China is unique in the sense that it has become a Hybrid of various philosophies and ideologies but the real benefactors are clearly seen to be the people in an equitable, fairer and more just system which in turns gives rise to peace and harmony to the country. How that is finally translated to be sustainable towards world peace, unity and harmony is still to be seen as the perfect model for the world for it is only just a few decades old and still in trial.

But most high class chinese here understand mandarin because they are already on power back then so the rules didnt apply to them so they can speak to their children and still continue to this day.

China's socialism is quite similar to the way of governance the Chinese have been governing China for thousands of years. When the central rule is strong, the country prospers, when the central rule is weak, it would be invaded and the ppl suffer. China could never prosper under those so called liberal democracy. It will fail terribly and that is what her enemies want. China present form of consultative democracy with Chinese characteristics is still in infancy and through reforms could be enhanced further.
