Those aren't fleets your mixing up pirate crews and fleets. BIG MOMs family are part of the actual Big Mom Pirates, Kaidos crew in Wano are all part of the his crew the Beast Pirates? An example of an actual fleet is the Strawhat Grand Fleet. A fleet isn't part of the main crew

Umbrella not to be rude, however I believe this chapter showed that Shanks crew is on another level, even when compared to other yonko crews. No other crew has such an in depth 'war room' briefing before battle. Shanks had a complete file on Kidd...I think it's obvious Shanks crew operates on a whole different level. His captains were prepared to take kidd out like it was no problem. Yet Kidd is a guy that just help take out big mom....telling you the red hair pirates don't just operate on power level. They operate using strategy and precision. Practically Makin your power minimalized.

Shanks' Haki is undoubtedly the strongest among the Yonko, possibly in One Piece currently. He has no DF and thus focus all into his own strength, swordsmanship and Haki, just like Roger and Rayleigh. Its cool that he took up Roger's techniques. Kidd and his crew will definitely survive and return, I can't believe they would die off that easily.

@@reasonablekinda2269 well there's a theory that's been around, it was covered by Morj a while back, that some or most of the worst generation were written to be Kidd's EOS crew. Because originally Oda only planned to create Kidd to be Luffy's rival but his editors encouraged him to create more. Secondly most the of worst generation have 90% nameless people on their crews. So the theory is that whichever captains end up joining Kidd will all fail and have their crews wiped, and Kidd will recruit them. The only thing is I find it hard to see Kidd continuing without his most prized ship named after his crush

I think it's less that Shanks is much stronger than Big Mom and Kaido and more like he didn't mess around and find out. He immediately used an incredibly strong attack, rather than continuously underestimating Kidd until it was too late like Big Mom and Kaido did.

Anyone else think that even if you have the 4 Road Poneglyphs getting to Laughtale isn't as easy as just sailing to the coordinates. I imagine that there will still be a bunch of surprises on that route, crazy island, mazes etc. . I personally hope that Oda has like a full on race between multiple parties, who all have all four Poneglyphs and they despretely race towards the finish line, meanwhile running into each other on the way and having to fight so the other group doesn't make it. Like imagine the Red-hair pirates, Blackbeard pirates, Straw hats, Cross guild, Heart pirates... all have a race to Laughtale. Meanwhile the Navy follows them and tries to stop them from getting there. This is how you can have Mihawk meet Zoro right before the Strawhats find the One Piece, so that he is the worlds greatest swordsman when Luffy becomes Pirate King. The Navy can then report that Zoro beat Mihawk and Zoro gets bestowed the worlds greatest swordsman title and is known throughout the world as that.

Secondly Law doesn't have to fight Mihawk and he will be much stronger then. Law has Yonko level potential. He is a D clan member and basically considered a honorary Straw hat by many people, although he would not join them ever, like someone like Vivi.

For me there is more simple reason for laugh tale being unreachable. It needs 4 poneglyphs to locate it, so there are 3 spacial dimensions and time. Meaning laugh tale might be unreachable rn and it will become reachable only in certain window of time.

This chapter's importance increases when you recall the conversation between Shanks and Whitebeard, where Whitebeard tells when he looks at shanks his scars that he got from Roger starts to ache. This means Shanks is direct disciple of Roger and not only Kamusari but all of Roger's attacks Shanks can use.

I love Ohara's videos man, you can tell he's always thinking about further scenarios and ideas, personally, Brago is the OP youtuber I watch the most, sometimes grandline, and I watch some others too from time to time. The Roger Pirates made it to Laugh Tale(Raftel) and Roger said that they had arrived too soon, that someone would be born that would surpass them all and surely Shanks heard about it from Roger or one of the crew members who went with him such as Rayleigh or even Oden if you go with the impression that Shanks stayed on the ship or a town or whatever and did not step foot on Laugh Tale and learn the truth. If we go with that then we can, for now, assume Luffy is the chosen boyo and that he was the one Roger was talking about. So my question would be what would Shanks gain from going to Laugh Tale without Luffy? I mean without Luffy, again assuming he is indeed the one Roger was talking about, wouldn't Shanks just be repeating what Roger did and arrive too early? Or is there something that Shanks knows that we the readers do not? He's just proven himself to be one of, if not the greatest pirate in the current age serving as an Emperor of the sea taking out Kidd like he was a newbie casually sailing in East Blue and setting himself up to be the final hurdle Luffy needs to overcome. So will that be it? Is that the reason Shanks gave Luffy the Hat a test to see if Luffy is the chosen boyo? Will Shanks be the Final Garp, reference to Marineford, standing in Luffy's way to his dream?

With the recent chapters I think the same way you do. Shanks is my favourite character. He has no intention to help Luffy at all. Just like Raylight asked Luffy if he wanted to know where the one piece is. Shanks wont spoil him or boost him. He will fight Luffy using all of his haki strength he gathered these years. I always thought Pudding's awakening was about her Memory Memory fruit and that would allow her to she the "Memory" of physical objects. Thus allowing her to literally see the Poneglyph's past. Also I severely doubt they shared either the Zou Poneglyph with Kid or the BM one with Law so that the score after Wano would be Luffy (as always) ahead of Law and Kid 3 to 2 each.

Let's talk about Blackbeard showing up which I think is impossible so it's definitely one of his titanic captains. Mainly caused law is on the northwest island, then the east island (Elbaf), and then egghead island in the direction Blackbeard has to travel to get to egghead. He would have to meet Shanks first which would be epic though. Aokiji makes the most sense as he probably has a history with Vegapunk and his association with Ohara which Oda is tying it to.

A good option would be that the 4th poneglyph was at Ohara. With its destruction , makes sences that noone knows where it is. If so , there must have been records of it , and Vegapunk has a copy. Story wise, could be that Vegapunk does get killed, but right before he does he gives luffy the 4th. Or it could be in Kuma's memories, so that Bonnie's apearance makes some sence. Somehow BB found that out, and sent someone to retrieve it. That's why the WG is so eager and takes such mesures. What do you think ?

I think the Blackbeard pirates are going to take York from Egghead. I also think Shanks can sense further into the future than he can see. His entire character seems to revolve around the colour Red. Something that could be related to the Red String of Fate. (Also there is a red band around the straw hat) He seems to be able to control his own fate.

Also another theory I have is that the mentioned "Figarland" family of Shanks might be related to "Vidar" (Son of Odin) who is the god of vengence. He is said to kill Fenrir at Ragnarok, which I assume could be Imu in the final battle. A far out theory that suggests the 5 elders are secretly against Imu and that Shanks will seek vengence. (for God Valley)

In regards to the rubbing of the poneglyphs. There is 4 folds in that person's hand. We saw the size of the rubbing pretty big. So if they were folded it would be twice. So two rubbing folded twice would give us a stack with 4 layers to it.

My theory is that Aokiji is the one heading to egghead on Blackbeards ship, it would definitely make sense for it to be him from a narrative standpoint since he’s in Sword and would obviously want to oppose the world government based on what he witnessed in ohara, he will definitely fight kizaru and help Luffy and the gang in escaping egghead once everything is over

Now that you mention it, in retrospect, chapter 1 really does show us the friendly and brutal side of Shanks. After all, the death of that mountain pirate that pointed his gun at Shanks is one of the very few confirmed kills that actually happen in One Piece that isn’t a flashback. So yeah; my money is that the intention of Shanks at that moment was to leave Kidd’s entire crew to drown.

I think the reason why Shanks is so obsessed with the Road Poneglyph was because of Blackbeard. Kidd could have easily been defeated by Blackbeard's crew and conceded the poneglyph copy which is worst case scenario for Shanks and unlike Law, Kidd doesnt have a cheat devil fruit. Therefore Shanks wanted the poneglyphs specifically to keep them off Blackbeard and maybe also to lure him in.

Tbf that sentence could be referring to a more short-term vision of the future (e.g Shanks may have forseen Luffy's death before Colby interrupted Akainu). If that was the case, in Shank's mind, Colby's interruption would have greatly changed the future regardless of if Shanks could see past Luffy's death, as he already bet on Luffy being the successor of Roger's legacy as the pirate king. But indeed, it's possible Shanks saw much further ahead than Marineford, I guess we need to wait until more is revealed about the scale of his observation haki. I get the impression that Shanks is quite the strategist even without his Haki (e.g coming to the Gorosei to warn them about ?BB, trying to stop Ace from fighting BB, stopping Kaido before Marineford, keeping the Strawhats safe on Wano, etc). I don't think Shanks can see all of this through observation Haki, otherwise his skills would be pretty broken don't you think? So it's probably the combo but I guess we'll see!

Big mom and Kaido are absolute tanks we all saw how much damage they took in the wano arc. In addition they have some of the best devil fruit abilities and have insane physical strength. Shanks is a different story he has incredible speed, superior haki and sword skills. They also seem to have different personalities too. Big mom is just a crazy monster, Kaido likes to toy with his enemies but Shanks is different he avoids fighting but when he has to fight he goes for the killshot he doesn't fight for the sake of the fight like Big mom and Kaido do, he fights to end it. While i still think Shanks is a bit stronger than Big mom and Kaido, Kid could have given Shanks a much better fight if it was not for his ego, Letting his gaurd down.

I’m just curious to see how Luffy is going to react to hearing about Kid’s defeat. He literally just risked his entire life with him at Wano on several occasions, and even took down 2 of the Yonkos with Kid and Law. I don't think he's going to mind. It's all a part of the adventure to become the pirate king. Like he says if he dies he dies. They're the captains of their own crews so they know that they while he'll be sad he wouldn't be mad at Shanks. Another thing, I think Luffy would only be mad and want revenge on a person that was killed by a rival pirate is when they get ambushed or killed in a way that wasn't fighting for their dreams.

This arc could get so insane. Blackbeard's crew is here? Well Elbaf isn't too far away, so Shanks could show up if he hears about it. Tons of marines gathering in one location? Cross Guild is hunting marines, they could also show up. Vegapunk is no longer welcome in the WG, plus some advanced super weapon just destroyed an island, plus Sabo just told them about Im? Revolutionaries also have a ton of reasons to show up and try to recruit Vegapunk. I don't think everyone is going to show up and fight are Egghead, but there's motive and good reasons for everyone to show up, and that's exciting.

I hope we manage to get some episodes of Luffy being the king, travelling and fulfilling the promises he made over the history of the anime! Just feel like we've watched him grow so much to become the king that we should at least get to see him be king, and get challenged as the king for his title and wealth! We know that Blackbeard is currently fighting on a different island so I'm willing to bet the person on the ship headed towards egghead is Mr. Ice man. It would make sense if he was an under cover Sword agent, we know he dosnt agree with how the gov does things, and his personality dosnt seem like it would fit well with black beard so maybe he is headed there to help Vega punk and the straw hats. I would be interested to know how vegapunk didn't realize satellites was plotting against him considering they upload their daily experiences to punk records. Could also be that whomever from BB's crew is on the way to kill Vegapunk and his satellites(maybe Robin) so then only a couple of people can read then again including their hostage Pudding. Or that they want the last location of the marker to find Laugh Tale, because no one seems to know, which leads to Elbaf and its giant tree which pushed the last ponyglyph into the sky. I do actually like your theory that Vegapunk is going to release all of the info he has to everyone in the world, creating chaos that BB can embrace to get ahead on the race to the One Piece. Revealing what happened in the past would change the world like was foretold when this arc began, but so would former Admiral Sengoku saving Law(if he's on that boat) and beating down the BB titanic captain and the Navy all at once. It didn't occur to me till just now, what if Garp shows up on pirate Island and all that's there is a titanic captain/Kuzan/Moria and that's when Kuzan reveals he's still working with Garp in Sword to its Garp and Kuzan vs Moria and a BB captain? Or another thought is what if Moria is Shanks spy? Using souls to send messages to whomever is outside, or even Pepronia(sp?) who could use her ghosts to spy on BB.

I like to think that Law is at a level where it's possible for him to land a killing blow on just about anyone if they aren't careful enough. The fact that Shanks had to use that much force to beat Kidd shows that someone like blackbeard could be seriously injured by someone like Kidd or Law. Maybe I'm being too optimistic lol.
