The main difference between the Ford and Willys built jeeps was the motor.from memory, the Ford was a little less powerful than the Willys built jeeps as they used the 60Hp 'Go Devil' motor, and I think the Ford used a repurposed Fordson tractor motor. but, the Jeep was a legend no matter who built them and they were a much loved soldiers friend.
