Gaming Bird I am working to develop a plan to practice each day so I can build a foundation. It is starting with seated Ba Duan Jin, not Shaolin because that is too hard for me right now, but the kind Master Yang Bai Long shows.

Did both sides, but now my legs are shacky as hell, though I feel more "relieved". So good to stretch out and move after not doing anything for weeks. My body is whining as if to scold me for ignoring her so long haha

:) yes sounds will be good to do more exercise for your Hip. the Hip is big joint that linked our lower body/ Legs to our middle body so its important transation the information between Lower Body and Middle Body Its kind like Trafic :) so flexible do needed.

Hi Sifu, love your videos, thanks for your teaching. I have a groin injury (hip, thigh, genital area) from playing football, and I can’t do Ma Bu, other stances and kicking, properly because of the injury for the last 8 months. So my training is affected by it and I’m loosing my legs strength day by day. How can I train while recovering and how can I heal this groin injury? Thanks in advance!

Is it ok to bounce when stretching? I have heard that it should be steady and not bouncing from the stretched muscle. btw, I love your videos and attitudes. You seem so happy. -- After posting I did my own research. My kung fu teacher in the 80's had told me not to bounce because it could cause torn muscles and scarring in worse case scenario. I just searched and it seems that bouncing isn't generally recommended when warming up and stretching. One site said it was somewhat ok, after you have warmed up and finished stretching, you could do some, what they called, Dynamic stretching where you bounce. Shrug.
