I bought a Dyson hair dryer. It was expensive but I LOVEEEE it. Total game changer for my hair. I can dry it so much faster, less heat and my hair looks so much better ...

At first, I thought she meant a basketball. Not signing her up for a season of basketball.

$200 for basketball for your child was out of the budget? That's ridiculous. I would hate to have a mom that has to consider basketball practice as out of the budget.

I think she meant that they didn’t initially have it in the budget, wasn’t in family plans for them to play bball. They didn’t have to scrounge up pennies for bball or for food because it was a surprise. Otherwise, you’d have to have a ridiculous amount of money budgeted for “other out of plan items” that could be anything.

Wait. They had to rearrange their entire budget so that the kid can go to basketball practice for only $215?

I mean, I make 120k/yr and live below my means. And I would also rearrange my budget for a $200 expense lol

@@SarahTemperance : For $120000 a year, which is not a high salary, that’s understandable. However, these people frequently claim to be millionaires.

@@FMD70757 yes, but I’m sure a majority of that money goes to different places, rather than sitting in a bank collecting dust. So I would assume if they want to continue putting their money elsewhere, they’d also need to adjust budgets. At least, I truly believe if I made even more money, I would still be extremely frugal lol
