Thank you so much for this video. I’ve just inherited the exact one from my daughter who has invested in an anti hair wrap one, and going off the state of the roller on the one she’s given me she definitely needed it!! I’ve managed to clean it up brilliantly. Can’t thank you enough 👍🏻

This is excellent because I have found so many free vacuums simply because people refuse to do general maintenance.... I have literally pulled vacuums out of the trash unclogged the pipe and they worked perfectly.

Very easy to take the bin off, 2 t10 screws on bottom, 2 t10 on top (under the top filter), 2 philips screws inside bin...then undo plastic latch on back, near battery chamber and it just pops outto wash & clean.

Wow, thanks so much! I thought I was going to have to buy a new vacuum, but I only needed to clean the filters. I didn't know where the filters were, because they are well hidden. Your Amazon link is also quite helpful. I appreciate you taking the time to make this video.

Great video! People always complain about the Shark cyclone system. Those filters are actually designed to take a lot of dust before it loses suction. I have personally tested it with measuring devises and that claim is true. Those filters need washing once a month. In my opinion that is not bad at all.
@charlesrodriguez79843 жыл бұрын
I agree. Also I’ve learned since I’ve ever used a vacuum cleaner that the MAX fill line means it’s full and should be emptied.

I clean mine one nearly every time I use it. It gets very messy. Takes longer to clean than the actual cleaning if the floor. Didn’t know about the outlet filter will check that as well, now just ordered a new set of filters and the roller. Thanks for doing this video.

The tiny wheels at the bottom of my shark duoclean cordless vacuum are really blocked with fluff and dirt and hair wrapped round them. I managed to clean one of them as it’s much more accessible but the other one is so tight to the frame it was almost impossible to get to it even with tweezers and a knife. Any ideas? I found the video on how to clean the unit really helpful and easy to follow so that you!

My shirt is all cleaned except the filter that’s on the top of the machine. It’s a little one that looks like triangle it’s cotton lake but I don’t know if it had it one time a piece of plastic with it when I turn on my machine it’s very loud and I don’t know what’s causing it. I cleaned it all out wiped it down and it’s still is making that loud sound, if you could advise me if I need to replace that little triangle Lee I thought maybe it had a piece of plastic or something on it they came on it but my machine is very loud when I turn it on and that’s where the sound comes from because if I block it with my hand, it’s not so loud Thank you. Your video was very very helpful. Thank you.

Enjoyed this very much, you are a perfectionist as am I. I have a Miele upright, so no dust or anything. Still as new after 4 years, no dust in the bag compartment, but I do enjoy going over it with Pledge spray polish to keep it gleaming. Everything perfect all the time, keeps my sanity semi intact. Happy Holidays. 🎄🎄🎄🎄

@@huskyvacs , but a poor cyclone causes the filters to clogg faster reducing performance. How come many other companies can produce cordless vacuums with good cyclones that cost the same as sharks? Take Bissell, Hoover, Tineco etc. Its sharks inferior engineering that causes it. Not that it can't be done. Having a poor cyclone means the user is forced to clean it more often. Which many people don't. Leading to many other problems.
@VacMaster19914 жыл бұрын
@@huskyvacs also I use my cordless vacuum as a daily driver and have never looked it back. It's so easy to use I can vacuum every other day rather than twice per week. Plus it makes stairs and other above floor cleaning so easy.

I have a Shark just like this one, but the issue I’m having is that yesterday the brush roll suddenly got completely jammed, it will not turn at all. We generally keep the vacuum fairly cleaned and well maintained. Since it’s been jammed, I cleaned the few remaining hairs, string, etc. but it didn’t make any difference, it’s still jammed. Btw I’m talking about the back brush roll, the one that doesn’t pop off. I’m starting to think I may need to just buy the whole floor nozzle, but I can’t even find where to order it from.
