What lights light up when it stop? The Red Clean light? The Red ! light? Do these flash when in the charger and does it beep when they are flashing in the charger?

Have you ever seen a 2 yo Shark ion with a blown motor? We called Shark to troubleshoot and they said the error lights indicate the unit no longer has suction and can't be repaired.

My shark robot has the max, clean and exclamation mark flashing and I have cleaned, vacuumed it out, and I can't get it to work in any way.

Probably a bad bumper sensor tap the entire thing and if still doesn’t work then contact the shark if you have a Warranty otherwise you’re looking at a new robot

We have a 750 series ION and Clean is red + Max is blue flashing meaning the dust bin has been removed and needs to be reinserted, but it gives me this while the dust bin is in the vacuum. I’ve tried cleaning everything and it still gives me this error message even though the dust bin is in.

I am not sure if you have any advice or the time but maybe you do. I just bought a brand new shark ion robot Av752,Av753 it has never been ran before. I was setting up the app and the dock and clean buttons are blinking and I can’t see anything wrong especially when it’s completely clean and new help if you can!

I can't figure out what's wrong with my 750 no lights turn blue when I put it on the charger. I've replaced the battery that did nothing if I wiggle it back to get a good connection the clean button will beep blue once and that's it. HELP 😩 If I press the spot button it beeped the charger showed charging only two times through and then turn back off 🤷🏽‍♀️ but it won't react every single time I push it. It's random....

My shark Ion RV850WV just stops...it will vacuum just a few minutes and then stops. I can restart it and it will go for a little bit and then shut off again...sometimes it makes noises when it shuts off, sometimes it just stops. No lights to indicate what the problem is. Any ideas.

We didn't have any error on our Shark RV720 but one of the side brushes did not spin like the other one. We cleaned up all hair and stuff. Still didn't work. When we turned the side brushes with hands, the bad one is tighter than the good one. What else should we look at? Thanks in advance!

Cindy Kohl I just went through this with my RV750 flashing RED Clean and !. Clean the the 'cliff' sensors. Turn the unit over, the are on the bottom near the bumper. There is one on each end of the bumper near the brushes and 2 in the middle near the roller. Use a Q-tip to wipe them off. Then push the bumper in and out from the top to loosen anything that may have gotten in between the bumper and the unit. Next place your hands on the bumper beside the side sensors and push the bumper sided to side. Next, I'd suggest spraying canned air between the bumper and the unit to get the loosened debris out of the unit complete. Turn the unit on and see what happens. Good luck! Was just on the phone with Shark to work this problem.

Does it have the yellow bottom parts or is it all grey with removable wheels?

@@SmittysWorld it is all gray wheels and they are all removable. I've taken it apart and cleaned the sensors, cleaned all other aspects and they seem to be fine

@@joeyv968 Where are the front bumper are you say is sticky do you mean the two metal tabs or the actual sensor that it connects with you might have to take the top of the robot off and get to that censoring you should be able to clean out whatever gunk is inside of it it

@@SmittysWorld not the metal tab spring in the center, but the plastic tabs that stick out that are off center on the left and right. I actually just put it back together and got it working, but would still be interested in being able to see how to get into that springs to clean it out as I was unable to

New sensors or motherboard if it’s under warranty get it replaced. You can sometimes get away with cutting the red and white sensor wire to fix the issue.

I have a 750 and it won't stop beeping. The app says it can't connect to the robot. The clean light is blue not flashing. If I push the clean button it will go a foot or so and stop. Do I need to replace it?

My 700 series says tangle or obstruction on side brush but brushes are spotless

My RV700 is clean and it stops after just 1foot and a red exclamation sign (red) and a clean sign (red) flashes and the robot beeps. It is fully charged. I reset it , cleaned it etc and still only moves about a foot and then stops and beeps and these lights are flashing. Wheels are moving easy by hand, so does the whiskers. Brushes are clean, etc. In fact this unit is about 2 years old but barely used. I would hate to throw it out. Any way to fix it ?

I cleaned all my sensors, filter, and dust bin multiple times thinking I’d missed something. Called Shark and the first thing they told me to do was take off the sweeper brushes. Waited about 10 seconds and put them back on. Turned the machine on and it runs like new!

I have a shark ion 750 & it stopped working. When I put it on the charging dock, it keeps like it's going to charge and then nothing. I even took it to a vacuum cleaner store and they couldn't find the problem, please help!!

Ok so you put it on the charging dock and the blue lights move back and forth like it's charing? But it never charges? This is a bad battery. If you hit the home button and it goes to the charger and doesnt charge the charger could be bad or the charging pads. If the robot is dead and you try to get it to charge but nothing happens make the switch is turned on.

I have an RV725_N. No lights come on, it just chirps every 8 seconds. Have taken it apart and cleaned around all the wheels & rollers. Any ideas?

@@SmittysWorld Volt meter shows 10v + on the battery (only have a 10v & 250v scale). It also pinged out my 9v battery tester.

@@debranelson1157 That’s the case it could be a motherboard issues.When you put it on the charger does It indicate charging.

@@debranelson1157 that narrows it down to 3 things , charging port , battery or motherboard . Battery might read 10 but they are 14.4 min volt to operate. I would say try battery first unless you want to take it completely apart and see if there is damage to the motherboard or charging pads.

Error number 2 which I believe is a side brush error. One doest spin when the robot runs

@@facacc you can follow the 850 robot videos to teardown the robot then watch the spinner teardown video to see if the gears are broken. Message me on eBay with some pictures the motor might be the same as the 850

I have a 1 yr old RV750 that keeps tripping the red exclamation point error code. I've dismantled and sprayed it out with canned air from every point I can imagine: no go. It rolls 3 feet and stops, then flashes the error and plays the 4 tone error sound. Is this likely a bad suction motor, in your estimation? Do you have any in stock? Thanks.

This issue can be complicating to figure out. Could be suction motor , could be a bad motherboard. Could be something stuck inside it. Really just depends . I would take it apart clean inside good and see if you can put it back together and test.
