Great on part of Ganesh and team at Think School to broaden the mind of Indian Youth through entrepreneurship. If 1 or 2 persons can come together and start SME employing 5 to 10 people - it will change the landscape of India and catapult it to developed country status in next 2 decades or so. More innovative indian businesses are needed - not more IAS.

Consider featuring videos on small businesses in different Indian towns and cities. Small entrepreneurs like us find inspiration and relatability in these stories. It's not just about big corporations - the real entrepreneurial spirit is often found in the diverse experiences of those running businesses profitably in smaller communities. These stories will not only add a human touch to the learning experience but also provide practical insights and motivation for aspiring entrepreneurs like us.

I've been following you for a long time, and I believe there's something within you, Ganesh, that could inspire millions of aspiring individuals in India toward an entrepreneurial culture. Ganesh, it will be amazing to learn stories about c-suite folks who climbed up the career ladder organically in a big corporation. I get that many people think of entrepreneurs as folks who start companies and scale them. But there are many natural employees who make it big within big corporations by creating businesses from the inside. Would like to hear from them as well.

Dear Ganesh, the podcast was amazing and myself being an entrepreneur, getting these insights was like hitting a gold mine 😊 Though I’ve done my MBA from a Bschool, I’ve experienced the fact that real business lessons are learnt on the field, and hence I request you to please get founders who really started from scratch, I feel amazing to share that I started my QSR chain in Mumbai by the funding received from a basic Mudra Loan given by the govt of 5 lacs, though it’s a small amount, it impacted my start, so much so that today I’m on my way to expand to 3 locations in Mumbai, that’s the power of a small seed, so request you to get someone on the podcast who can educate our youth about the schemes and ways of reaching out to our Government for a financial aid with respect to start a business 😊

Ritesh bai can look into the OYO operations. Founders are giving ther blood and swet to build a brand. Once its a brand the sustinance is purely on the execution. Oyo operations are nightmare for customers in few cities like vizag and blore. Its out of context but wen a founder is ready to give so much gyan ther shld be framework for the brands to check the quality of service they offer.
@0m139 ай бұрын
Thanks Ganesh.. you have started on the front foot and hit it out of the park with this first podcast. Radhika’s point about “execution” is one of the most important parts of this podcast. I am not an investor myself but have the opportunity to meet many founders and investors here in the Bay.. and what I have distilled from my conversations with them is that the idea is not even worth the paper it’s written on.. anybody can come up with a great idea, but the winner is the one who executes perfectly, has the flexibility to adapt to changing conditions and the perseverance to keep going even in the darkest of hours. Literally every “gold mine” company has the same story - search was not a new idea when Google came along (remember Yahoo?), neither was social media some brand new innovation before Facebook (remember Orkut or MySpace?).

Dear Ganesh and Parsh .... First of all, Congratulations on your first installment of Indian Business Podcast. Wish this grows into many more seasons in future. I have one specific issue to point out at... Maybe it may not be true or maybe I found this bit glitchy... The audio of sharks was not upto the mark at all. While Ganesh's voice was loud and clear ... it seemed that the sharks had to shout their throats out. in addition to this, the voice of Radhika ji was not captured appropriately.. I have seen this in few other podcasts, where she was the guest .. she chips in few important pointers in between conversations.Those were captured beautifully there. But here I could see that glitch. if you see the recording again, you will know what I mean. Maybe you would like to add those words as 'display' in between .. I hope you take the point constructively and bring things into good control in future podcasts.. Eager to watch the next one .... Kudos and God bless ..

Please cover below topics *)Pros and cons over Finance commission tax devolution (horizontal) *)Revenue Deficit Grants to States *) SDRF and NDRF funds *)cess and surcharge spending (where and why not to state governments) *) Population Vs Demographic performance criteria *)What can state governments (good performing )propose in front of 16th Finance commission? Suggestion:- *) Even though Bihar and other poor states receiving higher revenue from Central government in terms of tax devolution and grants, they are not performing well. Contd *) How can they made accountable by monitoring their spending ?and if not spent wisely thier money should be forfeited and spend directly through new central government projects. One important suggestion:- *)Whether income distance (tax devolution -41%)can be altered by taking average gsdp of top 10 or top 5 (debatable - just for example) fast growing states as base line rather considering gsdp of top performing state. Thereby top performing states can contribute less compared before without compromising their growth. Example:- Mah has 38lakh crore gsdp TN has 28lakh crore gsdp In 5th place UP has 24 lakh crore gsdp In 10th place MP has 12lakh crore gsdp Rather calculating income distance using Maharashtra's 38lakh gsdp You can take top 5 average as ~27lakh crore gsdp Or you can take top 10 average as ~20lakh crore gsdp.
