I have a bissell powerforce heilx 2191 that had a cut cord when i found it on the side of the road at a stop sign

I want to use a shark as a dust beat i want to disconnect the power to the vacuum motor and just use the beater bar to beat dust from the back of area rugs with no suction just to beat dust. I know it would work

How did you break down the housing?

Remove the lift away pod from the machine, and remove all the bottom screws

@@IntellitechStudios my point is, how did you pry it open? I was able to do this but I was sure it would break. It didn’t break and I was able to cut the cord and fix the connection inside the machine and reassemble it. I fully expect it to work another 15 years with normal maintenance and care!

I have a Hoover elite 350 upright bagged vacuum if you want I will sell it to you for $115 it works and picks up really well

No one wants bagged vacuums anymore i dont for sure too expensive i like seeing what i collect and dumping it for each job. I clean carpet and floors for a living i like to know exactly what im pulling out and how much from each carpet/rug/floor
