I don't remember the number exactly but say it's $10 per Wisp If he wants to sell 100,000 Wisps, he has to pay $1mil to the manufacturer to make them, and then he's planning to sell them for 2.5mil. But he's still down a million, so broke. He sells that 100k, but made no profit on them. So he's back at a million, but he just had a bunch of sales so orders another 100,000k. He's broke again. These don't sell, or sell slowly, giving him something like 50k/mo, so maybe another 150k for the year. Now you factor in expenses like warehouse space, marketing, salaries for a year it adds up, you can hit hundreds of thousands of dollars quick. If they had 5 people working minimum wage (way lower than you'd want for a thing like this) that's *still* 7% of that million dollars gone. At the end of a year where he sold 100,000 units, did nothing shady, and employed people making minimum wage He'd still be down an easy 300-500k

Nope, many and I mean many times a million dollar idea comes in and they start fighting over the product and the creators hear everyone out and no one does that pouty "I made an offer, answer me" stuff. While Robert isn't wrong to be so so about the product it absolutely is true that he doesn't pull out of that offer if he truly believed in it just because they talk to others. Imagine someone came to you selling a machine that can cure cancer for 50$ a pop would you pull out of a deal because the seller was fielding all offers?
