Yes, but often people are too lazy to return bad products. That's the reason some companies say you can return a product for 10 days because they know a lot of people won't use it. It's still a bad product in my opinion because it's a lie.

That mirror idea is immoral to its core. Even if it’s used with full transparency (which it wont) it’s still encouraging people to stay at unhealthy body weights by assisting a false view of themselves. I’m trying to lose weight myself and after years of gaining weight I lost 30 pounds in the last two months. No fake self perception of myself accomplished that. I did it because I faced the reality which was my poor eating habits.

Her mistake was in trying to sell it to clothing retailers. She should have instead made a side-by-side mirror: left side mirror showing an accurate reflection and a right side mirror showing the skinny-reflection. Show a label above/center or below: this is what you look like now, this is what you will look like if you lose 10 more pounds. Work for it! Then sell it to gyms/fitness centers!

The mirror idea, I can’t wrap my head around how confident she is in it…
@IJustFiguredThisOut
@IJustFiguredThisOut Күн бұрын
I agree, I think her confidence in the idea comes from the fact she likely doesn’t actually have any body image issues. That seems like a complete lie. At the end after being turned down she says, “The skinny mirror is all about making people feel good about themselves. The intention for the retailers to buy them is so that their customers feel good, not to deceive them.” I’m sure she doesn’t have any clue what it’s like to be the slightest bit overweight and how the mirror would be an issue with what she is proposing. But outrage began after the show aired and Skinny Mirror shut down operations just seven months later.

Just another scam tactic to make sales and it is really dishonest. They are risking that once people look in their own mirror at home and see the truth, that they might return the item because it does not look that good on them. I'm only on the first pitch and am not in the least surprised she sold so many so far. Too many people want that fantasy world to feel better about themselves. I can handle that I am no longer young and pretty because I'm in my 70s and am aging naturally. My goal is to be comfortable and not scare the daylights out of anyone who glances in my direction. So glad I am on my secluded island across from the beach away from superficial people who are delusional liars and cheats.

The mirror idea is quiet... illogical. If you bought it then look yourself in the mirror at home, then cool. But she missed out one point is that reflections are everywhere, and those reflections doesn't make you skinny. Its also a bad thing because some people might not even want to exercise just because this "illusion" mirror already tells them that they are perfect

The Pavlok segment is so triggering. The Sharks are ignorant of the science and history behind using this type of device, and they're mocking this guy based on their own lack of education.

@@gwenclark2931 I don't know why it's a thing, but every single Shark Tank video, the comments are mostly or at least largely people sharing what that had or are having for lunch. I've learned to accept it and even kind of enjoy it now. It's fun to read what everyone is eating. Lol! 🤣😂
