Thiago Alcantara is a horror shout. He’s in the starting 11 when he’s fit, him and Fabinho are the cemented places and we haven’t lost a match with both of them playing together. Thiago was crucial in us getting top 4 last year, he’s been solid this year and only recently injured again

Why are people surprised about Valdes changing the way keepers play. Valdes was instructed to play on the feet only when Pep joined in 2008. When Pep joined Bayern, Neuer took it to another level. Emerson Royal in his first season in the prem and has more goal contributions than Tomiyasu, AWB and Walker in the prem. Lloris has been a consistent number 1 at Tottenham and France for almost 10 years, won a world cup and has made far less mistakes than certain other keepers in that time. Reguilon is in his second season in the prem and hes already outperformed his assists & goals tally from last season. The tottenham agenda these man have is unbelievable. As a Chelsea fan I have noticed Jorginho is only good at possession. He offers nothing going forward and offers no defense and still manages to lose possession way too often. A center mid who passes back and sideways and does not get any assists. Rudiger is class in the 3 centerback system, but his flaws really show in a 2 CB system.

Faysal is so on point with Valdes point. He actually was the REAL goalkeeper who started the extra man playing up from the back. Valdes was ELITE at distribution. People either forgot, or never really paid attention to him. And that is down to the obvious, he was never as good of a keeper as Casillias in those days, or the finished article like Neuer. But Valdes's distribution was and will always be the best out of any sweeper keeper that anyone could name. See some highlights of him, that guy could've easily played in midfield.

Don’t just look at what the lineup shows, watching the game Pogba was the most attacking influence of that midfield esp in the final. To be the most attcking influence of a midfield 3 you’de be the no.10. And for Juventus his best season was already matched at Utd. He wasnt as good at Juve as ppl think. He was good, but hes had 2 better seasons at Utd statistically so Juventus doesnt rlly show his personal best form, just his best team achievements
