The thing about Man utds period of dominance is the years they didnt win it they were razor close... In 2012 they lost it on goal difference with one aguero kick in the last minute... Through the 90s they lost it by one point multiple times.... All the other times they won it... Fergie kept that team at 80/90% consistantly... In the late 00s the UCL semis later stages were full of United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal on repeated seasons. The prem went through a lull between 2014-2018 then the last few years have been pretty much a 2 horse race between Liverpool and City. I'm not even sure the last years have been that competitive in the prem. Liv won it easily in 20 and City won it easily last year - as well with no away fans made it even easier for them. You can say that some of the mid table teams have improved over the last 5 years perhaps. But Norwich, Newcastle etc of this season are no better than the relegation fodder of 10-15 years ago. Ur on crack. As an arsenal fan, even though I hated Ferguson, he was without a doubt the greatest manager I’ve ever seen. Pep hasn’t won a UCL in 10 years😂 he’s an elite manager but he was at a world class Bayern team that won a treble the year before he went there and won 6/6 trophies 2 years ago😂 As eto’o said when he was asked who’s better, mourinho or pep. He said “ one of them won a ucl with porto and the other struggled with Bayern.” Even now for city, in big UCL games pep is making stupid decisions, like playing gundogan cdm against Chelsea in the finals😂

Great talk. I honestly feel though Man U did it with the class of 92' and a few big names along the way. Cantona, Van De and a few others. I would say most of the talent was young homegrown talent. Where as Pep just spends and spends and spends. It's a different method. I think raising a team to win is a much greater achievement then getting 1 billion to spend in 7 years. I know people say but man u has spent just as much. True, but also for a much longer time. City caught up in spending in under a decade. Now, pep picked the right players, that's for sure. It's a tough one.

Pep is the most influential person in football in the last 40 years imo. Just look at a full 90 minute football game before 2009 (Pep years) and after 2010. Literally looks like 2 different sports. Split CB and Footballing GK and wingers/Attacking Midfielders as Strikers was very rare. Now, it's pretty much played by every big team, even in lower leagues across Europe teams are doing this.

He actually does come close. In fact you can say he has already done more than Fergie. He has won the UCL as many times as Fergie, which is 2. Fergie won the Prem 13 times and Pep has 9 league titles with the three teams he has coached. If you consider the fact that Pep started coaching in 2008 thats quite a lot of catching up versus the 26 years Fergie spent at Man U. Man even in overall trophies they are quite the same. Fergie won a total of 36 trophies and Pep has 31 already in half of the time coaching.

Sharky’s very biased towards Arsenal. City didn’t win anything in Pep’s first season bc he took over someone else’s team with Zabeleta, Demichellis etc. 😂Not bc he needed Arteta. Remember Arteta’s first summer window too when he signed Willian, Mari etc.

I think you it would be really cool if you did a vid, where you name the best player of this season in the top 5 league's, but do it where you name the best under 24, under 30 and over 30. Finally you should just choose the best player from each league and then have a vote for the best across all leagues. (Even though you're probably just gonna pick salah or who ever wins the prem vote) btw I really enjoy the vids

Cracking video but would just like to say Utd's team in 08 wasn't really dominant, more than matched by Chelsea and Arsenal that season. Arsenal were top of the league for almost the entire season, but yet I still feel that was Utd's best side, testament to the Premier League that season. Was amazing, Lampard, Essien, Ballack in Chelsea's midfield was scary. Was: Utd - 87 Chelsea - 85 Arsenal - 83 Plus the Champions League final win against Chelsea, cracking season
