I had to deviate a bit I think maybe because my disks were different but the basic idea was the same and I've got my bootable drive with some games installed already. Thanks for doing this!

i followed the steps but my soft keyboard on the emulator didnt have backslash. how did yours, or did you change the keyboard somehow?

Hi Neil. On the soft keyboard the backslash (\) should either appear as a backslash or as a Japanese character to the left of the backspace key (it looks like a Y with two lines through it). If you watch kzbin.info/www/bejne/nGW4i6msqNyZZ5o from 16m it may help you.

I had that same problem because my keyboard was in Spanish before I initiated the emulator. Try exiting the emulator, then change your keyboard to English (US) and launch the emulator again :) That worked for me.
