I have 2 Backup MVs. I think they are underrated. I put a Z68 tailcap on one which is really handy when I need an umbrella light. I like that it has high come on first. But my house tends to be pretty dark. I used to edc it alot but it's mainly my house flashlight now which is great. I currently edc a Surefire Stiletto Pro which I really like. I'm thinking on if I should get the Pro 2.

If you haven't already, check out the tactician. Its like a Backup MV on steroids. The pro 2 looks like a great EDC or vehicle light.

I have an Edcl1-t from them and i really like it but the battery life with their rechargeable batteries doesn’t really last that long, do you have that issue as well? i mainly run it on the low setting .

I have only used one rechargeable surefire so far. It was an m600DF with their 18650. I noticed battery issues and flickering issues when used with a tapeswitch. I've since gone back to the traditional 123a fueled lights and haven't looked back. I see the value in rechargeable batteries but they must be done right. It's easier for me to keep 4 cr123as in a storage pouch than it is for me to recharge on the go. Or count on rechargeables to hold a charge long term.
