Nice - exactly what I was looking for. I'm teaching my students tropes and schemes and am doing it through movies this year. This shop sequence came to mind as a perfect example of syncrisis (type of antithesis) - Edgar Wright did it right! Thanks for putting this together!

The thing about Shaun Of The Dead and Hot Fuzz is that the ending turns out good for a large majority of characters seen. The World's End threw a bit of a curveball in with that one and thats why its my least favourite of the cornetto trilogy.
