I’ve been shaving my head for more than 20 years and have experimenter with different kinds of shavers and clippers. I concluded a long time ago that it’s just as easy to wet shave. Easier, in fact because you don’t need to go over the same area multiple times. The electric shavers are more irritating to the skin than you might think.

My problem wetshaving was that any small raised bumps or moles on my head would get cut by the razor. If I did it in the morning I would have bloody spots on my head. The clippers I use (Brio) can go over them with cutting skin

Just upgraded from the rx5 to the rx7. Love both, they are so easy and quick to use with great results if you shave every couple of days. I start off by dry shaving then finishing off the shave in the shower. Talc is great to help the Remington when starting the dry head shave. The wahl aqua blade is also great. I tend to use it for clipping stray hairs around the ears and at the back of the neck and for trimming my beard to a really close stubble. Great video as usual😊

My problem with the remington is how fast the blades die... I have a Wahl Balding and a Wahl Super Taper, both with the blades adjust to a super close shave, and honestly I got my Balding for almost 10 years and only replaced the blades twice, it payed it self multiple times over. The remington is extremely expensive due to the razor replacement, for that close shave I still prefer my wet shaving routine with a double edge safety razor (even cheaper in the long run). I know shaving is not about cost but is something to think about, I shave twice a week and for me the remington was a very bad investment: Thanks your video, as always a great informative video with a lot of quality.

I would love to see your review of the Phillips multigroom series!! In particular, the lowest tier one (the Multigroom 3000) is about $30, doesn’t have anything fancy, but they work so incredibly well! Don’t have to oil the blades since they’re self sharpening, super close cut if you go no-guard, never had any hair pulling on head of beard! I bought a pair 4 years ago that recently died because I started cleaning them by running them under water (despite the big symbol that tells you not to 😢)! Either way, would love to see a review!

I’ve got coarse and curly hair and I’ve had excellent results with a wahl peanut (corded), I use the attachments to keep my facial hair close trimmed. I tried an electric head shaver and got bumps around my neckline in the back. Otherwise the headshaver was actually quicker. A good general guideline seems to be if you get bumps you might just need to leave a little bit of stubble. Yeah I got patches on the head and in my beard, but it I keep it all trimmed up the only person who seems to notice is me, lol. Love the channel and all the honest reviews.

@@Baldcafe I typically shave my head around once a week. I have to be careful as my skin is very sensitive so I like to let my skin recover. Hence the One Blade as I've found it to be the smoothest and closest shave. A single blade will do my head about 5 times. Takes a bit longer than the products you've shown here as the cutting blade isn't the widest.

I've been using my Braun Series 7 790cc with the cleaning station. I figured it was good to shave the face, good to shave the head. I imagine any good electric shaver would do the trick.

You have no hair on top, but still have a good amount of hair on the crown. For me it's the opposite still have hair on top not in the crown!

Shaver sucks , electric much better , i want best way to take multi day growth of head and beard before shaving with actual razor . In this case multi head thing looks 10x better and easier then using a trimmer behind you but certainly dont work like marketing of such products that make it look like razor clean shave with ease . But im not an idiot so dont expect adverts to not be lies .

These shavers are the worst. Steer clear. It doesn’t give a close shave and it takes ages to get there, and the blades dull in a few months. At least with the hair clippers the hair will be a bit soft, with these it won’t be smooth, just incredibly stubbly and gritty. Your head will feel like you did 1 with the grain pass with a dollar tree razor after using these

@@Baldcafe I used electric for a while, but foil is the move. Wet the razor under warm water for the first pass then use conditioner for the second pass and you’ll get baby smooth in around 10 mins. A few months ago, I switched to a double edge safety razor which I love, and I just bought a leaf razor per your recommendations on this channel and just shaved with it last night, liked it a lot. So I prefer safety razors/leaf

The RX7 is brilliant! Been usung it for a few months and its very close shave. Smooth afterwards. Lasts 3 to 4 days before using again. Clipoers i find youre using every day or two. RX7 Looks great with my SMP as ive recently had all 3 sessions done of that and im happy with it. With the clippers it leaves a millimeter or so and im gray almost on my sides so it shows up in the sunlight and then next to my SMP it doesnt blend as good. Great video! My SMP vid results kzbin.infolXx_MJRr9is?si=OV_Ws1J5K3Cb6mhl
