I swapped my my RPR out with the same barrel about 3 years ago, it greatly improved the accuracy. I won a local 200 yard match with it, then sold it to my son and he won the same match the following year.

@@MnMarine1 Awesome to read!!! There was only a few videos here about this. But all showed improvement's. But one dosent really know capabilities of the shooter to judge improvement. So I was not super impressed with what I saw. My factory barrel overall averages about .7- .750 but I have shot in the upper 4's occasionally. ❤️‍🩹🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏❤️‍🩹

I hate that company. They have screwed me over so many times. I avoid them for almost everything. Every now and then I still will buy if its just too good of deal but that's really rare. Cool new barrel!!

Shaw's business model: So if it won't extract unfired rounds, as soon as you get a dud, you have to buy a new barrel! I remember when E R Shaw was visible along PA turnpike. They moved and possibly were sold since those days long ago.

Mine came in a cylinder tube wrapped in bubble wrap. At 50 yds about the same as stock but at 100 yds it was a %50 improvement on groups. I have 2 Shaw barrels on my 10/22's and they shoot great too.

This will be interesting in results as to which Match ammo it may like best. Or could be a less costly standard ammo. I agree with you if the shooter has issues the best barrel made won't help. Covid has caused some quiver problems- in my case- which seem worse the more time you take concentrating. But still fun. 👍🎯🙏👊🇺🇸

Very nice barrel. Their shop is not to far from me. They are over in Bridgeville pa about 40 min or so . Tryed to get job their about 10 yrs ago or so .

I love my Shaw barrel for my 350, except for one issue we’ve discussed. That packaging would concern me, too. Hope it works well and lasts a long time!

@@kyfirearms Im ichin to as well!!!! We had bad thunder storms run thru here today. So I couldn't get out. Monday is my next chance!! But as it turns out my 20moa base for the 10/22 came in today. So mow I can shoot/site both Monday!!

i want to see how it does with some good ammo. i don't shoot any of that stuff. But I can tell just by shooting regular bulk stuff mne is WAY more accurate. The other day i cleaned up the berm at the range from all the little chips of the broken clay birds. There wasn't a safe golf ball that was left either. This was at 75yds and 100 yds.

I was told not to get a ruger precision 1.5 at 100 guess thats why, hope this does the trick looks promising 👍

I like my Shaw barrel on my 10/22. That packaging was horrible. I got mine at Midway and the packaging was way better.

@@jesseboutdoors morning Jesse, I'm surprising because I've got the same complaint with midway packaging. They threw one lousy pillow in and a whole bunch of loose stuff that you ordered and it just bang around in the box until it gets to you. I hate to buy from them because they all come loose. They all get mixed up. You don't know what you got because the boxes all get busted open.grrrrr.

@@texpatriot8462 Thats what I fear. This shot OK. Actually pretty well for what it was. Im hoping this is large improvement. I am pretty sure it wont be nite and day but Im expecting fringe's to be eliminated. Meaning strange tight and loose groups barrel flyers. Not ammo related.
