wow thanks for the vid. I have over 1000 hours in the area, back in the 1990's. AT 2:21 on the left is a cave that a really big morey eel lived in. everyone know him his name was Ernie, Ernie the eel.

Thanks for posting. Lots of memories as I used to dive Shaw's Cove 40 years ago when I first got certified. I moved from So Cal and haven't been diving there since about 1985. Amazing how the ecology has changed. Unfortunately the diversity of wildlife is down quite a bit, with the exception of the Garibaldi which are as annoying as ever. Sea urchins have really taken over. Still looks like a fun dive! Used to enjoy going through the tunnel. Don't think I could haul all my gear back up the hill to PCH like I used to do.

I dove there once. Saw Garibaldi and even a small ray, but your dive was spectacular in comparision!

Please know I love the experience and beauty of your video. However, I am concerned only because you touched and disturbed the wildlife. I'd maybe prefer for you to slow down and show the species in thier elements without without touching them. They looked disturbed. Thanks :)

The slower you swim the more fish come to you and bump you on their own. He tried touching them though.

This guy probably has a lobster dive bag and a measure attached via lanyard to his BED. I hope this video gets to another member of "NBTT" or better yet.. PADI. WHY..WHY ...WHY.... WOULD YOU EVEN CONSIDER TOUCHING ANYTHING IN THAT GREAT DIVE SPOT... THAT IS AN AWESOME PLACE TO HIT UP FOR EVEN A QUICK EXCUSE TO GO FOR A DIP IN THE DRINK.....uuuuuugggggh! quit diving all together now PLEASE!

Some marine conservation areas have changed the rules on Lobster. MPA are fully protected areas though.

Why are you moving around the animals?! what in the world are you doing?! ... it's people like this that ruin beautiful Serene Hobbies like this for the rest of us because due to their actions then regulations start forming which prohibit the rest of us who actually do some ocean cleaning too....not cool dude
