Wow. Talk about displaying the complete package! The And 1 on Reeves was magical and the block on Rahim was beastly 💪

as a cav he only played 4 playoff games but certain stats were high for shawn kemp in the 98 playoffs

If Kemp had stayed in shape and focused, he'd been in the hall of fame. He was well on his way.
@raurmanproductions3438 Жыл бұрын
He'll still get into the Hall of Fame eventually eventually. Gary Payton is on the board of players in The Hall of Fame and he gets to bring Kemp's name up every year for a vote... however like you said had he had stayed in shape he would have been First-Ballot without question.

Kemp was still giving his former neighbors from the other side of the border fits even after moving out east.

Kemp was still good the 1st few years in Cleveland, as well as Vin Baker in Seattle, but i think after 2000, they both started declining QUICK around the same time, which was eerie smh

Kemp looked solid in 97-98. Wonder how much more he would’ve bulked up in muscle had he stayed in this form
@BudFuddlacker2 жыл бұрын
Solid? He was declining quickly, and that wasn’t muscle, that was the weight he was quickly gaining, he was done by ‘98
@googlemyself40912 жыл бұрын
@@BudFuddlacker Yeah Kemp was done by 98 yet he averaged the most points he averaged in his career doing that season. Do you even watch basketball kid?

@@googlemyself4091 This video was from his 97-98 season. He was a starter in that all star game in NY just a couple months later

@@googlemyself4091 yeah Shawn Kemp was still a great player in 97-98 and 99 he wasn't bad either. The team disappointed but in 98 Kemp was very successful with Cleveland leading a starting 5 of all rookies outside of him to the playoffs
@BrownBrother27 Жыл бұрын
The lockout was the main reason for why Kemp got out of shape and didn't return to even 1997-98 figure. He did not have access to teams trainers, dietitians, and athletic facilities that would've helped.

This is the 97/98 season. He was an all star and still the REIGNMAN
@BudFuddlacker Жыл бұрын
@@TheKrimeScene nah, the Reignman was no more the moment he left Seattle. He had good numbers his first year in Cleveland, but he was never the same, and was on a quick decline
