If I remember correctly, Carrie actually got special permission from Stephen King to emulate his story Christine in this video.

I'm dying! I don't know what's better, the song or Shawn's reaction to the song!! Mel is all like Yeah, baby! And Shawn's all "Oh, damn!" I love this song. I cover it a lot, and it always gets a good reaction, and mostly the same reaction you're seeing here. The guys are all like WTF and the girls are cheering me on, hard core! LOL. Carrie Underwood is a legend in her own right, and she tells amazing stories, and I love them all! I have every one of her records and I cover a lot of her music. She's just phenomenal.

Mel you nailed it. Betrayal is devastating and yes, it’s a theft of your life. As you said, you think you have a perfect, beautiful life and it’s shattered so completely. It can change a person forever. It’s hard to move on when you’ve loved that person for years and years. They say the only thing more painful is losing a child. Mel, props to you for laying it on the line.

This song is part of a trilogy. The first one is called Last Name (where she meets and marries the guy) and wins the truck. kzbin.info/www/bejne/nGOaq4GioreAjbc The second is called Before He Cheats, where she does things to the truck. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jZK2qmuvrpKgqJo The two videos start the same way. Guess the guy continued to cheat which brings us to this one, but this time the wife and mistress get together and write him off for good. Guess he won't cheat again. Great reaction.

If you listen really close it's actually about 3 women. Two showed up and met for the first time at the funeral. But the 3rd is hiding in the back. She said it. Two months ago the wife called the number on his phone and found out he'd been lying to both of them for so long.

This is the sort of dark cathartic fantasy we ladies can enjoy through song. Doesn't mean we all are the type to kill, but damn its nice to have a song like this to sing to once in a while. Plus, I love seeing the women go after the guy and not each other instead. To many real life crimes where the women target each other instead of the guy who was using them. Always annoyed me. Like...if you are going to resort to murder, murder HIM. Its sort of badass in a forbidden way. (but again...fantasy. key point there. Murder is not the way to go in real life. xD) Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. Look Shawn...if you gonna cheat, know the level of crazy your girl is capable of. Because most of us will get over it...but there is that 1% of people in the world that will kill. o_o

So... I have seen a lot of women both in reaction videos and in the comments attached to them saying things like "that the men are all shocked but that the women know how it really feels and it is just karma" if men who behave like scum get attacked or even killed, that "anyone who truly knew heartbreak would understand"... uh huh. Okay real story time for those who love reading long posts. If you do not like reading then "TLDR Summary: Bad stuff happened to me by a female but I never acted out, so no your claims about karma or anyone understanding are wrong. It's all just self justification excuses for behavior you know is bad. Two wrongs don't make a right, especially when the second wrong escalates to the point of murder. " But enough TLDR stuff and on with the story... Decades ago, when I was thirteen years old, I saved up for weeks doing odd jobs just to make enough money to buy a really expensive gift - at least to kids at that age. It was for the girl who lived across the street that I grew up with as best friends. To me she was practically my sister and my best friend at the same time. She had been wanting that particular thing for months and begging her mother for it every time they were at the mall, and since our parents were best friends as well I had witnessed many of these mall trips. But every time her parents said she had enough stuff and it was too expensive for something she probably would grow tired of when the next fad came. I spent weeks out of my life to get her that perfect gift mowing yards, etc. every chance I could even to the point of having almost no time for myself. The morning of her birthday I finally managed to make the final purchase on the layaway and brought it home then personally hand wrapped the gift. Finally I walked across the street and let myself in with my key, just like I had many times in the past and she had done to my house. I arrived to her birthday party about 10 minutes late, but I thought it was time well spent getting her gift and wrapping it. As I neared the sound of voices with present in hand I managed to understand what was being said right before I opened the door. Eavesdropping is never a good thing, and I never intended on doing it, but I also had not announced my arrival in any form that would have alerted her. So I unintentionally overheard her telling her friends that she was glad that I hadn't come because her parents made her invite me. That she didn't really want to hang around with the fat kid from across the street but he was the son of her parents best friends. I didn't want to believe it at first, my mind made excuses that she was just sad because I was late. Then one of her other friends there who knew both of us said, "He's not that bad, would be kind of cute really if he just lost 10 or so pounds. And he really likes you, do you know what I would do to have a boy willing to put me first?" Only to hear her say, "Yah he's a puppy. The only good thing about him is I get a lot of free stuff. He's so dumb for such a geek. But I think he is starting to wise up as he hasn't bought me anything lately. In a few days I plan on going to see him just to keep him on the line, but it is hilarious that he thinks I give a damn about him. I'm just glad to have some time without having to pretend with lardo." If I handled that situation like Mel and various other women seem to think heartbreak deserves, then there would have been one less woman in this world today. Or I could have made a big scene and ruined what should have been her special day - another way of handling things that for some reason I notice a lot of women endorse for some reason. Instead I simply backed up, left her present on her kitchen counter for her to find later, walked home, had a good scream and cry fest into my pillow for a few minutes... and then proceeded to never again speak a single word to her again. Any time she would try to talk to me I would just stare at her face, smile, then walk away... But I also never told her or either set of parents why my behavior changed. Yes, I could have taken the gift back. But I wanted her to have it, as in her own words it was the one gift she most wanted in the world. I wanted her to have it... and know exactly what she said about the person who would have done anything for her but now would do nothing for her. I honestly don't care if she never figured out why I stopped hanging out with her or if she added one plus one to understand the easy math about the timing. It was enough in my own head to simply be able to think any time I saw her and snubbed her, "How was that last gift, was it a good trade?" Honestly, even if she wasn't a better person if she had just stayed away from exposing herself a few more years she could have probably gotten way more out of the poor chump that I was. I think I can pretty much nail the "truly knew heartbreak" there. A person who I considered my best friend and sister that I was close to for my entire life up til that point ridiculed me, and pointed out unintentionally to me that I was a terrible judge of character and that everything I had done to try being a good person was just fodder for someone else's amusement, and even worse she did that in front of a small crowd of other people some of whom I also had considered friends. Most guys would walk away from a situation like that and just go with the default "Women are b(word censored)." or something and just treat every future female with suspicion, but personally I've always just figured it was a one off from a single person and should not reflect how every woman feels. But every time I see women laugh at things that happen to guys as "karma" it makes me wonder just a little more. For the record to Mel and various women who commented here, this cheater's death in the video was not karma. I am going to ramble a bit before I get back specifically to you. "Karma" is not when a random guy gets raped unless he attempted it first. Yes it happens far more often to women, but it should never be treated as a good thing or something to joke about (and let me be clear I am not accusing Mel or anyone in comments section here of joking about this - it is referring to comments from various women elsewhere) just because it was a guy this time. "Karma" is not when a random guy on the internet has a groin shot and collapses in pain. But enough about that, let us get back to specifically talking about cheaters and karma for doing it... Even in the cases such as in the video, which features one of the scummier males who do nasty stuff like cheating on a partner, it is still not "karma" to torture and or kill them. Karma would be immediately taking evidence of the cheating and then using it to scrape every penny from the divorce proceedings. Karma could also be to deliberately go out and first video tape the evidence of partner cheating, and then make it play on the television next to you while you cheat yourself on camera while asking the video "So how does it feel to watch your partner cheat? Please know I only did it in response to your own cheating that I was unaware of for far too long while I stayed naively faithful, but thank you for setting a precedent in our relationship. Don't worry I am going to send this to everyone you know so no one misses out like I did! I hope you will have lots of fun watching this video because I had plenty making it!" then send that video to the colleagues or family of the original cheater. That kind of revenge in both cases would be very karmic... but killing and even worse prior to doing it getting a kick out of psychologically torturing him by chasing him for several minutes with a car threatening as if you intend harm only to be secretly herding him and have the other woman finish him off with a second car that no one would ever identify as belonging to someone he publicly knew? No, that is not karma it is an over reaction taken to extremes. TLDR? If this was too long just read the first paragraph and stop there. But you will miss out on a chance to make fun of me using my real history which will probably hit me harder assuming that motivates you. xD
