Laine Snook has done 300+ on that version (old and different shape) compared to the new version. The slope of the cone is much more significant on the new one compared to the old one that Brian is using. Still strong but much different.

We were trying the 45# plate flip to catch. That’s super hard. I didn’t get it but was very close. A lot of guys are really lacking in grip I’ve found. It’s crazy how many things get easier after training grip. Now to try to pick up the plate like you did in this video.

Strong lifts but this is the old version of LBH which is a lot less tapered than the newer one, thus easier. The WR on the new one is 111.2kg/245lbs by Igor kupinski.

Here is a suggestion for another grip strength device: I think it's called a devils horn. It's like the little big horn except the smaller end is even thinner to the point where it's almost the point of a sharp horn. It's not bent in any way, it's a straight piece of metal that's shaped like a sharp horn. So the challenge here is that at one end there is barely nothing to hold on to. If you know what I'm talking about, feel free to enlighten me to what it's really called.
