@TheLochs2 жыл бұрын
Lol, well put.
@NovaAndCat Жыл бұрын
Just as a meme I did the calculations, nothing to be serious about so: 100 grams of Bison on average is 115 kcals The average bison weighs between 800 to 1200 pounds (some can get way higher but we are talking averages here) That's about 360 to 540 kg (let's say 400 kg for a nice round number) That would mean one bison 🦬 is about 460000 (460.000 for readability) kcals Which would last him about (10.000 kcals a day) 46 days
@avenger3163 Жыл бұрын

i get thats a joke but ahh Some swimmers and cyclists do literally consume more then that, but they burn it in activity he burns it around the activity, hes got more muscle he requires more calories to feed more muscle mass at rest.more protein less carbs, then a marathon runner like you said, but more carbs less protein same calories, look entirely different. think thats a fun thing to note, among the effects of how many calories a 1000 lb deadlift 3 times may burn vs say a small amount of cardio due to stress thus why he may eat in a unusual way also, nonetheless interesting. i actually think he under eats, Jon Pall Sigmarrson at times ate several thousand more then that but different strongman events these days so diets change i guess to reflect that
@Me-wk7dz3 жыл бұрын
@@archilonshadowheart7 Good point, most people don't know lifting weights burns practically no calories BUT having more muscle mass and recovering muscle does cause your base metabolic rate (calories burned when at rest) to be higher. I think that's why many people have a hard time losing weight, they thinking lifting a dumb bell will make them skinny -- but if their diet is too slim they won't gain muscle from the workout and won't burn any calories.

I love and respect the hell out of Brian Shaw. I’m 38, he’s 39, I’m a big guy, he’s a bigger guy. But he really needs to evaluate that he has a successful business, family, clothing line, and his own major event, the Shaw Classic, and maybe step back from competing. I hate to see an already big guy, start downing 10,000 calories at 40 years old. He’s a world record athlete, will go down as one of the strongest men to ever walk the earth, but he needs to start leaning towards health and longevity and he needs someone around him to TELL him that. But all those people are making money off him, so they won’t, but his heart isn’t going to be able to keep this up into his 50’s, and God knows we don’t need to lose him, he’s done too much for the sport and could be an ambassador and inspiration for years to come. I honestly hope he decides to slim down (again) work on cardio and “heal”. He was saying he couldn’t recover because of food intake, brother, I’m 350lbs, WE can’t recover because our bodies are aging and we’ve put them through hell for 20+ years. WAIT ...... despite the name flushable wipes ARE NOT FLUSHABLE 😯 You will mess up your plumbing/septic tank😦😳
@a-a-rondavis94383 жыл бұрын
Nothing should be flushed except waste. Flushable wipes basically means let's try to destroy your septic system.

I use them and I always put them in the bin. I would never flush that stuff down.

Diet seems like a misleading term...more like food plan since no one can consume that besides a 4 time champ💪💖

"the kinds of food that a person, animal, or community habitually eats" - Not sure what is misleading about that.

No. His diet is the correct usage of the word.

It's what he's eating so diet is the perfect word. It's just because people don't know what it means.

Tip for picking sweet cantaloupe, smell where it was cut from the vine. If it smells sweet, it will be sweet. If you cannot smell any sweetness, put it back.

Brian got the shopping sequence all wrong! Always pick dry items first and then frozen or refrigerated items last, you don't want cold stuff (especially if you have ice cream) starts melting while you are shopping around, you head straight to check out immediately after the refrigerator aisle.

If you don't know what to look for on a fruit or vegetable look at the tag's to see if there is a quick reference on ripeness.

Intermittent fasting can help recovery immensely (autophagy gets rid of old damaged cells/extra fat through ketosis as well) whereas eating more food your body has to expend more energy on digestion rather than repair and recovery. One meal a day (shorter eating windows) has also been shown to be effective. Glad to see you eating more fruit and veggies (antioxidants for inflammation and fiber).

Costco looks like Grocery Heaven to me for my diet - Alkaline Water packages I didn't even know were actually sold like that, Orgain Protein pallets, 50 lb rice bags, etc. Most of the stuff I have to make from scratch is sold there already made WOW 🔥🔥🔥

FYI: Buying bulk frosting by the bucket as a member is up to warehouse discrection. The bakery buys those for bakery use/inventory and the Costco I work at doesn't sell these. just make sure to ask.. although I'm guessing everyone watching this, including me, would never buy a bucket of frosting lol
