No debate, no sophistry or trying to score points. Otherwise he would've argued back. This is proof that Islam is not against women's rights, and this is why Muslims don't need the feminist ideologies. Islam advocates everyone's rights already. Just following what Islam says and advocating for it. Hamza Yusuf is a gift ❤️ May Allah bless him

I can fully agree with your statement. It is the biggest issue in our Ummah. When young people don't get married at ally there will be no family structure and no protection from both sides. And no offspring will come.
@SisterhoodPathways2 жыл бұрын
It is hard for both sides. But I feel women are more vulnerable, because from a certain age it becomes harder for them to have children. And men want young girls and prefer not to marry a mature women because they might challenge them with knowledge and expectations in form of treatment and the fulfilment of their rights.

i don't think so. i think it's 2 things. 1) women are too demanding of their requirements in a husband and they leave marriage till they are old and then want older husbands. but none exist. 2) men want attractive younger than them wives the end is a lot of women are left over. and this isn't just a Muslim phenomenon. it's happening in china japan korea india everywhere. it has nothing to do with men being intimidated by women. it has to do with women delaying marriage for their education and careers and finding out they left it too late. Men don't want husbands, they want wives. Women want to be independent, and yet want husbands. It just doesn't work. It's a contradiction.

Old not mature women. No one wants old women for fertility issues as you said.

@@zenastronomy Are you trying to deny women to become educated to at least a university degree (so roughly the age of 23 or 25)... A young girl has no say apart from her Wali on when she would be able to get married. You need to review your Islamic Family Planning bases.

@@Chatelaine0 you need to get off the defensive feminist high horse drug. i never said any of what said. first my reply was to clear women up from this delusional feminist argument that men don't want them because they are highly educated. clearly written in first post above. sorry, but men don't care if you're educated or not. men are men. we don't look for women to take care of us financially or in the world. we don't care if they are smarter or dumber than us. When it comes to red flags, a women's education isn't even in most men's radar. it's women who care. they who don't want men who are less educated than them. it's women who have red flags, not men. you could have a PhD and it wouldn't affect how most men see you as a prospective spouse. all they'll care about is whether you are attractive, young, fun, and obedient and not a nag. whether women want to be educated or not is up to them. but the world isn't going to bend to women's feminist delusions and rewrite the rules to suit their princess delusions. men want attractive aka young fertile women. the science says that 15-25. not 35 year old phd professors. if women want to get educated until they are 30 35 etc that is their choice. i wouldn't stop them. but they then can't go around crying why don't men want to marry me, wa wa wa. And then argue it must be because "I'm too educated and men are scared of me. bad men, stop being mysognists and start wanting me." It's the equivalent of fat women saying men are mysognists for not wanting fat women. or trans homosexuals getting upset men don't want them etc. the world has hidden rules. the rules don't change just cos people want them to.

I mean, what do you want the guy to say that he probably hasn't already said a billion times over regarding this topic? That's why he didn't want to answer...his demeanor said it all... "what do you want from me?" The whole process of finding a partner is more complex than the cosmos....this problem is everywhere, not just in the Muslim ummah. Dot your i's and cross your t's and hope for this best.

If they selected the bride based on good tarbiya and akhlaq as well as good deen they would not be abused by them. Where do u find women who full on abuse men?? Unless you find someone in the streets who is troubled with drug issues... I can't seem to fathom why a dignified woman would have to scream and abuse a man (who is usually taller and stronger)... unless the man is out of line!
@sudaysfreepalestineandfree6212Ай бұрын
@Chatelaine0 This comment was 2 two years ago, but let me answer your question. When I meant abuse, I mean that even when the man knows something is wrong, his wife forces him to do something or believe in something. Same for the woman at times the husband forces to do or believe in something that she knows is wrong. For example, let's say you or someone is supposed to go to visit his uncle, then the wife/husband refuses to make them go because they just don't want to. There should be a line between a husband and a wife. Both should use their brains and start to rationalize what is right and what is wrong.
