@@lubu7777 No, I disagree. I think her whispering voice and her character being more quite is way more sympathic and attractive to me personally. It even makes me think whether a potential relation between me and some girl like her here now would be the thing I want for a long relationship. I prefer a quite and shy character over being loud and over-selfesteemed. Just my personal point.

I actually have the opposite opinion. Being a natural french born, she has adopted the american accent so very strong, that I even could think she never came from somewhere else. Yes, she has still the french accent here and there, but it is crazy for me to see how someone is getting along with the american english so well.

Glow, with real cooking, certain ingredients like garlic and onions are a base for layered flavors. The end result doesn't taste like "onions and garlic." In fact, they usually melt into a dish, and most people wouldn't even know they're there. Usually you only taste those ingredients when they're raw (i.e. salads) or not cooked properly/long enough. I highly encourage you to try the recipes as is, even if they include some foods you don't normally enjoy. Also, try different versions of foods you think you don't like. For example, replace onions with shallots. Or try roasted and black garlic instead of regular garlic. You'll thank me.

I still do it to this day and I love it. I hope that you also learn to cook and enjoy the pleasure that it is. I have always liked to eat, a lot. So cooking was a logical step. 100% great. Will watch episode 2. Great job making something actually edible on the first try! "All roads lead to Rome" is also used in English. Invest in some oven mitts and maybe a hand masher, and maybe an apron (you learn not to fry food with a lot of bare skin!) You will learn to taste as you go for adding salt (or not adding..) When making breaded food, you will usually season the food (fish) *and* the flour before you coat the food in the flour.
