I'm in my 50s and yes they still only chase Chad. Many of these women have half of their divorced husbands assets so believe that men should cater to them even more because they have a house or some money in the bank. You'll then hear about this constantly, should they keep their house or sell it and take the money and blah, blah, blah. Its just a reminder they own a house outright and you don't to make sure you know your place at the table. In reality they just want a Chad and if you're not a Chad this is the treatment you will get.

I’m a 53 year old man and I tell all the married people to work their problems out. Do your absolute best to keep your marriages intact. Especially if the two of you have been together for over 25 years or more. As someone who has never married or had children, I am here to tell all the people who claim to not be happy in their marriages that the dating market is absolute 💩 and gets worse every day. So unless there is an honest to God reason to divorce someone, not being happy in the moment isn’t a good excuse.

The guy my ex dumped me for broke up with her the day she announced she came clean about the affair with me and filed for divorce. Her day of triumph lasted all of 6 hours. By that evening, she was begging, pleading, and promising to do ANYTHING, and said she was going to withdraw her filing. I bought time and played nice for 9 months. Got my shit stacked and filed on her with cause, infidelity, with cast iron proof. Had her unceremoniously served at work in front of God and everybody. Completely unexpected. By the time she got home, I was packed and gone.

My father once said to me "over 30, people are single for a reason". He was 100% right. A friend of mine once said "except for sex, I prefer the company of men". He was also 100% right. I know the angry feminists REALLY hate the MGTOW thing, but more and more, I GET IT. Starting a conversation with a woman these days is quite literally like walking through a minefield. GOD KNOWS what will set one off. My wife has a few friends who are 50+ and single. I've met a couple of them...not bad looking, keep themselves nice, BUT THEN they open their mouths and the ugly pours out.

It took 10 years and many many many failed relationships and a huge devastating heartbreak to sit down and take a very long look in the mirror and f be honest with myself about my own actions and the crappy ass way I had treated some of the people in my life. I realized that women do NOT belong in leadership positions and the role of a woman is to care for and nurture the family and separately the husband only second to God. Only when I learned about myself and what role I have been commanded to do by God, he gave me another man to care for, but I had to do it right and with passion every day. Yes, I have a successful career but that is NOT my focus. I work for "fun" and not to live (so something to do on most days when I'm done with my other duties). Am I perfect? Nope. I have a chronic pain issue but, he has been a gracious and caring husband to me as well during those bad times when I couldn't overcome. But, this feminist crap is crumbing our civilization. This is NOT the route God created women to go down. Ladies, just stop it or your gonna die miserable and alone.

Did you give back every penny you cost your first husband in divorce court? If not, then you aren't really sorry for what you did to him. You're just sorry that it affected you the way it did.
@elibennett6168

Just because you were not a good leader does not make it a universal rule for all women. I don't know if you are Christian since there are a lot of people who claim a god from various religions. If you claim biblical faith, then women are to be leaders as elders (that is, spiritually wise, not necessarily chronologically old) and role models of faith. No woman is alone who has God.

@@mikey92362 I never asked for anything in divorce court including the house. I didn't fight any of it and I paid for most of the divorce. I didn't cost him any money at all. I paid him over $100k just on child support and doesn't include the insurances I have paid for and continue to pay for since 2007. Now, I'm paying college tuition, rent and a car note for my daughters. What else do I need to do? I never fell behind on any of the payments I promised to make since 2007. Not to mention prom dresses, photographers, class rings, band trips etc that I've also paid. I love how super negative folks who have no clue who I am nor what I am about can just say a bunch of bullshit to dis-credit those of us who choose to do the right thing. The FIRST person this man called when his second wife smacked him across his face and he realized he needed to send her packing was me, that was in 2016. We remain really great friends and choose to co-parent our daughters with love and acceptance of all past bad decisions. I wasn't the only one who made bad decisions, I just chose not to add his in here. This man spends time at my house with his partner all the time. She has had some significant health issues that I've also helped with. I love her to the moon and back as well. So, in the words of Elon Musk, "GFY!"

@@elibennett6168 I didn't say I wasn't a good leader. I said women do NOT belong in leadership positions. Huge difference. Whether that's the head of a household or in the corporate world. Yes, I'm a Christian. I read the Bible. I suggest starting with Genesis in a study Bible so you understand WHY women were actually created. It wasn't to be the "leader" in the family, nor government, nor society. Women have the specific role of fostering a relationship with God first, then her husband, then their children...in that order. If you are a Christian, I'd probably look at myself in the mirror and asking yourself if you are fulfilling God's plan. If so, great, but, I'd venture to say that based on your horribly judgmental comment, you haven't made enough necessary self-corrections to say anything to me about what my role is in my family. Let's all just take a look in the mirror and be honest with ourselves. I've done that, as extremely painful as that was, and what I tried to say here with my original comment, and somehow it morphed into what a horrible person and Christian I am still despite what I have learned from a super bad experience that I admittently caused to myself and my family. I was truly trying to help other women who are in the mindset I was in in 2007. I will scream from the rooftops that it's not worth it, even if it means countering super hateful people who obviously were hurt by someone in an unfair and selfish scenario. I'll apologize for them, but it seems that won't help either 🤷🏼‍♀️

@@AmandaCadorna Well, wow. You call me judgmental? LOL! You share a story of a failed marriage where you caused great pain and then share the conclusion that all women should not be leaders, of course the world is going to logically connect the dots that you spoke about yourself. Then you use your own personal failing to attack other women. That's sad that you defend it with Christianity but it is simple self-defensiveness. Leadership is accepting failings and recovering. I know exactly what scriptures you are referring to and have studied them extensively, including referring to the interlinear Greek and Hebrew. I have studying Pauline theology. We know women were elders and deacons in the early church, not only from the bible but historical records such as Pliny the Younger who tortured two deaconesses to try to get them to denounce Christ and they would not (letter written about 112 AD). You have bought into the idea of hierarchy yet Jesus' words were to lead by serving others (see Jesus' discussion of servant leadership end of Luke 22). My first comment remains and, in fact, I think we need more leadership in women as well as men. The lack is ruining families and children.

When your husband talked to you about being in the marriage for the daughter, it was a situation you needed to hear about the lack of connection. You work together on it, not walk away. That's what you did. Also you left because you feel that you have become better than him through your achievements. She’s more hurt about the short term relationship, because that was supposed to be her come back. It was supposed to be proof to herself that she was right about leaving, and that she is better than her husband. It bellyflopped on her and now her solution is to go be a 304 at 52.

I don't know about "dinosaur" but I can tell you from experience that things change quickly after you hit 50. Not long after that, you might get some arthritis starting (how do I know this?)... or your other half develops it, whether you are married or just dating this other person. Or you develop some other type of progressive disease that just begins to show itself. And your senior parents might have a bad fall and get a brain bleed and suddenly require your hands-on care and you might need to consider moving them in. Or they develop Alzheimer's. Try dating under these circumstances. You don't have that many good years after age 55, it starts to slide a little every 5 years to some new normal. This woman only talks about her physique. Nothing about her extended family relationships, nothing about spending more time perfecting hobbies and nothing about what she'd bring to an older man who might be interested in her - men younger than her would be friends, men older than her would be more likely to be marriage partners. Would she be interested in a 65 year old? Who would have less energy than her, and might be more interested in a slower paced life? We have a friend who's in this spot right now. It's not a great spot to be in.

If you hear her ex-husband's side of the story, it will be full of infidelity, disrespect, drama, and probably violence. She divorced him perhaps after husband refused to submit to her demands for open marriage. Then she got a big settlement money from the divorce, bought her house with it, and started having fun with chads who have been pumping and dumping her.

She's completely delusional if she doesn't realize what men hear when she says "experience". Lady, you divorced the white knight who stepped in and married a twenty-year-old single mother. Thus, you have zero loyalty. He also sounds like a great guy -- besides marrying the single mom, he raised someone else's kid, grew a business, and was willing to stay in a bad marriage for his daughter. None of that was good enough for you. 25+ year later, you wanted him to be something more. WTF else do you want from a man? Sorry, there is no way a man can "win" with you. Now you complain about men wanting younger women? Sorry, your "experience" is just baggage. A 35 year-old hasn't blown a 25 year marriage. That isn't experience which men want their potential partners.
